Had a few runs ins with alphas during the day latley.
Not that they are better than me.
These are the beer gut ****heads who think they own the sauna and have no respect for us young fellas. Just wondering if you guys have any cool tricks to put a I feel like I just got ****ed up the ass look on their face lol

Here is one story short.
Me walk n2 sauna with 2 guys and 1 mrs.
I walk in ignore them and sit by his misus koz thats my spot.
They ramble on about a subject I am familiar with and used to live there.
Me: something bowt oh r u talking bowt such and such?
A1: yeah carries on talking
Me:Tries to but into convo again a few times
A's: starts talking at the same times and didnt bugde
Me:Tells a two things I done there and a few facts.
A1:Agrees.
Me: go too say something so does alpha, me keep talking while he sais something until he finish and I keep talking out my sentence. They both look.
A1: disagrees from my comment by twisting it into a different POV.
Me-A2: So who do you drive for?
A2:Fonterra!! Looks at me like im dummer than forest gump.
Me:OK
I leave it for know.
A2's wife tells him off because he keeps going on about his beer gut and drinks to much coke
A2: I don't drink coke, I drink rum and coke
A2: Leaves with wife
I sit up and pretend the heat isn't getting me and glance at A1 until he leaves
I feel better haha.

I wouldn't be chatting up people in the sauna or trying to but into their conversations. I understand that DJs try to be as sociable as possible, but some places aren't optimal for conversation.

I know you meant well, but this group sounded quite "clique-y" and not too open to outsiders.

Lastly, I don't refer to any guys as "alphas.". Whether they are or aren't is debatable. But either way, I don't think it's the best frame to have. It's puts them on a pedistal. We are taught not to put women on a pedistal. Why put men on one? I readily acknowledge that there are guys WAY bigger than me and/or higher status, but I don't dwell on that.

I think this whole alpha male nonsense is stupid when it applies to humans. Humans aren't wolves. we have the ability to grow and change as well as think logically.

Humans also don't live in one situation. A beta wolf is stuck in his little wolf pack for life as a beta male unless he somehow fights and kills the alpha. A human does not. At his Job, his boss might be the alpha male, but at his house HE is in charge

so please, stop with the alpha junk. It's stupid. Instead of focusing how load other men are focus on making yourself "alpha"

For the record. I refer to them as alpha because they were older and beer gut hairy chest ect. Also A1 was a prison gaurd ans A2 was a truck driver.
I do not in any way think they were better than me that is why I went in an tried to make conversation and gain some respect. I could of walked in and punched them in the face to demonstrate my domonance or beat my chest and howel lol.

By the sound of your conversation it sounds more like you are trying to qualify yourself to them, which makes you lower in their eyes. Why gives a damn about those guys, simply wanting to SHOW that you are alpha? That's besides the point of being "alpha". An alpha would not give a damn about some beer bellied dudes, obnoxious or otherwise, especially it wound up upsetting yourself.

I really hate this "alpha" obsession. It somehow becomes an artificial state that you have to perform. Take control of your own destiny, and you will be the man.

not that it really matters but alpha behavior isnt something where someone is necessarily loud or just goes in and tries to take over


alpha is actually where others will acquiesce or defer to the alpha...naturally, without the alpha exactly doing anything. alpha's are often quiet! humans are a pack animal and alpha is actually more defined by the actions of the non-alpha's in a situation than the alpha himself

also alpha is kind of contextual, if you send 10 alphas away on a course 9 of them will not be alphas during that time. if you send 10 non-alphas away an alpha will emerge for the duration

its not always hard and fast who it is either, same group of people one week, and then again another week it isn;t always they same person that becomes alpha, its dependent on a lot of things (confidence, mood,...of all people present)

I have noticed this and many times the members put up legitimate questions. This is not one of those times. He could've asked us how to handle the situation better, or he could've kept it his mouth shut and not have been so bothered by it that he had to come on the internet and cry about it. He chose to do neither.

He decided that this was a big deal and that was worth getting upset about. Well tough ****. Two random knob heads didn't want to talk to him, boo ****ing hoo. I have been putting together an orchestra of sickly Ethiopian children to play the world smallest violins just for situations like this.
