I have a burning desire to begin working out. I created time to fit working out into my schedule, however there is a problem.

The Problem

Since I am financially disadvantaged, I can not go to the gym. Even if I convince my mother, it will put a big strain on the current "balance" of my environment. I do not want to do that to my mother. She does enough as it is, plus I have college to go to on September 2006 (next year).

How am I supposed to work out if I do not have access to the gym?

Your response the aforemented question is very prediactable. "Work out at home, Fitch." But the results are completely different.

There has to be a workable solution.

The gym has everything I want. Bench press, etc. I merely have twenty pound weights, and a floor to do push-ups (and crunches).

I can not wait until that day I will become rich.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

get a job or hustle up some cash somehow.

where theres a will theres a way.

and honestly weights arent that pricey. almost everyone has some old weights stashed someplace... check the paper or garage sales or something.

Even buying them new is not THAT expensive.

If you get like 150 bucks together you could a complete set BRAND NEW.

I sold all my systems. I doubt I have room for the machines, besides it is not worth it since I have one year left with my mother. I will stick with push-ups, sit-ups, basketball, tennis and swimming. In college I will do that plus the gym, I can't wait to get started! College education, and college facilities; it is going to be great!

P.S. I will also be a Senior next year! Class of '06!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you "AFK Protector," for your support. Do you know any intense workout methods that I could undertake with merely weights?

I did weighted crunches, and I strapped the dumbell to my back to do push-ups - it did not work out to well! It did not hold, despite the speed.

Can you think of anything else that I can do to increase the intensity and maximize the results?
