A few months ago, i noticed a slight increase in the fat on my face. At that time i was consuming a lot of (ON) Whey Protein... also, i hardly did any cardio. So was excess protein the reason for this ?? Or was i not working out hard enough + lack of cardio??

I'm gonna lower my bf% now by cutting down on fats and lots of cardio, so hopefully i'll loose the facial fat which i gained....

I know that with regular protein the body can only process so much at one time and the extra is stored in some not so efficient ways. Like Espi said cut down on the calories and increase your aerobic activities.

Protein from real foods; meats, beans, dairy products, nuts, lentils etc.

Understand that protein from meat has more fat than plant based protein. It should also be noted that fat slows the processing of any nutrients that you take in. It doesn't mean that you need to avoid all fats, just the bad ones. The same can be said about carbohydrates.
