I've got about 3 months before I need to go to college (Jan), and I don't have enough $ to join a gym. But I need to get in shape before my 1st year in college. ;)

I'm 158lbs (72kg), 5"8'
I've gained about 40lbs when I used to be in a gym (2 months). I'm still under-weight, so my future goal is to gain only another 20lbs (after I join a gym)

But in mean time, I want to concentrate on:
1- doing cardio (heart - endurance) by running
2- lowering my fat %
3- getting a 6-pack
4- Not gaining nor losing weight
5- Becoming fit and agile

I've started running 40 minutes every morning (6 days so far), But I need help/tips/pointers/links on becoming generally fit. All the threads I found seem to deal with gym work-outs, etc. But I need to do push-ups, pulls-ups, etc without messing up my body and not only that, but I need to have a daily routine. I don't have much time but I'll commit to it for sure.

you shouldn't do cardio right before or right after muscle training,.for numerous reasons (such as the risk of muscle loss / and not having the energy too push yourself hard enough)...... make sure you do cardio either on its own seperate day or at the opposite end of the day i.e like 12 hours apart from training.

If you don't eat anything before you run you'll burn off fat instead of the caleries from breakfast. I'm not sure if you know this or not because it wasn't specified, but I thought I'd put it in there.

I dont suggest that. You should always have something in your stomache when you run.

You'll burn muscle *and* fat when you do cardio in the early morning. How much you'll burn off on each depends on your bf% and the amount of muscle you have.

Check out HIIT cardio, too. I prefer that over normal cardio - not because of the 'you'll start burning muscle!' argument, but because you become faster and feel better after doing it.

for those three months. do 20 push ups and 20 sit ups. every day twice a day. in the morning 20/20 then before you got to sleep. then as it gets easy add some more like 25/30 and so on. just make sure you do it everyday. no exceptions.
i gurantee you ll notice awesome changes
peace

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

This may seem like a stupid question, if you think it's stupid, then you're wrong (it's an illusion):

What's the difference between crunches and sit-ups?

I thought I was doing sit-ups, but according to this link, I'm doing crunches.
And which one do you folks recommend?

Sit-ups hurt your back and there is no need to curl above 40 degrees.

m4a1 - where do u live?

If the weapon choice is partiotic, then it's the states.

Why not work for 3 days and pay for a gym membership?

Ice Cold - Nah, it's not patriotic... Just been affected by Counter-strike lately, lol.
I live in Italy (trying to get a job since forever... it's hard)

Anyway, I don't think I'll need any bulking right now. I need to lose fat (I think I'm around 15% or something) and I can feel a six-pack, but it's not visable.
I was about 120lbs before, and I got 40lbs in just 2 months of working out and eating like a maniac, I can gain weight easily, but losing the fat is my primary concern right now, I suppose. ;) so after giving it some thought, I don't really need a gym right now... just cardio and sports.
