hey everybody, well, this is my first post, but I've been an avid reader of the posts on this board for quite a while now, and I just thought I would let my voice be heard.
The advice I have been recieving on this board has helped me greatly, and although I don't know everything, I just thought I'd let some people in on the advice I have picked up over the past six months or so: take baby steps.
Everybody on this site has told you how to become the uber-man, but I am planning to break it down for you, the way I did it..I'll start from the beginning.
1) Don't run your mouth, this is the first thing I started doing. Don't talk so much, it will make you seem like you don't waste your breath on such trivial matters, and when you do speak, keep it short and simple. People will listen to you more.
2)Don't take people's sh*t. If someone insults your, or pushes you, make sure they know not to let it happen again. Now, I'm not saying that you beat everybody in your path, but, don't get pushed around. You'll recieve more respect.
3)Change your clothes. Before I started taking these steps I wore baggy clothes, so amazingly baggy, I could hide a cooler in my pants, but as time progressed, I realized, why do I wear baggy clothes? All it does is make me look insecure about my body, so I went out and bought some real clothes, fit nice, not too tight, and not too baggy, no shirts with holes, or pants with stains. Respectable.
4)Get a job. Most of you have a job, but for the ones who don't, get one, and always keep enough money on you for whatever comes up. I usually keep 100 or so, usually in smaller bills, so it looks impressive, but whatever the need may be, I don't have to run to a bank to pick up money, its always on hand.
5)Treat your possessions with respect. So what if your car is a piece of sh*t, and is better off in a junkyard then on the road. Treat it like its the best car in the city, the best car in the state for that matter.
6)Treat your friends with respect. Your friends are vital, without them you wouldn't have anyone to talk to, treat them how they want to be treated.
7)Work-out. This one is important. It's not important how much you work out, as long as you don't sit in front of the tv all day. Go out, jog, walk, ride a bike, pull-ups, push ups, sit ups, at least thirty a night. You'll feel better about yourself, and you won't get walked on as much.
8)Be funny. Don't be such a bore.
9)Read books. If you aren't into reading, get into it, read fiction, non-fiction, anything you can get your hands on..need help? Start with something deep Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics learn the virtues of a man.
10)Tell the truth. The superior have nothing to hide.
11)Get a hobby. Self-explanitory.
12)Listen to blues sometimes. Or at least try some jazz.
13)Be individual.

Well, I hope this post helps you, I tried to stay in the order that I followed, and you guys should add some more too..well thanks for your time.

well said...you brought up some excellent points here...keep up the great work!

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Man, I don't even know you, but I already like you.

Nothing is more soothing than the cry of the old bluesman from the delta of the Mississipi river. The blues comes from deep within our souls.

Good post !! I thought that I would see a lot of familiar stuff but you added a twist of novelty to the thing. I liked it !!
