I've been a busy busy man lately, however, I learned three valuable lessons during the course of my life recently; during my expirence with women. I wrote, as an way of clarifying my thoughts, and as an outlet for my creativity, a little piece on the first two. Since so many people expressed interest in my thoughts here, I figured I should share with everyone here. Who knows, maybe someone will take it to heart.....
Lesson one: Reality will often yield to your desires- provided you know what you want and persue it with a courage and persistance.
Lesson two: Life is all about persuing your dreams and desires, about fulfilling the calling of your "soul".
Fortune favors the bold. How can one expect to recieve what you want out of life if you do not have the courage to demand that which you desire? Those timid and afraid of confrontation will never get what they desire. Even the small things will elude their grasp.
Let us take a small, simple example to illustrate this concept in all its majesty. Let us say that an indiviual has gone to a resteraunt and has ordered two sandwhiches. They mess up the order monumentally. Now, what will the timid and afraid person do? That's right, they'll sit there and eat the sandwhich becase they are too afraid of facing someone face to face and DEMANDING what they deserve. And if they're too afraid to demand what they want because they're "shy" or "nice"(or whatever rationalization they which to give themselves) over such a simple thing as a sandwhich, how can they POSSIBLY expect to have courage when the stakes are REALLY important. When their future, and their happiness is on the line?
Even in seduction such a soul is lost. How will he have the nerve to persist when the girl says "I don't think we should go to your place" or "I think my pants should really stay on"? He won't, he will simply let her dictate the terms of their relationship, for he refuses to have courage; and without courage he will never achieve his heart's desires.
Such people are only destined for one thing- mediocrity; and the worse sort of mediocrity. The one where he will not only has to watch other rise above him, to take what he wants, but also has to suffer the indignity of having others proverbially spitting on him- they do it because he'll take it; because he suffers from the worst sort of mediocrity. The mediocrity of the coward. Respect, achievement, success, and even love- at the heart of all these things lies courage. Without it, they are mere thoughts, mere daydreams.
The man who stands tall and states to the world that he will never be conquered, that if he is knocked down a million times that he will stand tall a million and one? Such a man will never be defeated. Defeat lies in the mind, the man with persistance knows this- thus he is never met with defeat, only temporary setbacks. His will will carry him through to victory, the obstacles he conquers will be a testament to his deserving soul.
The world is filled with over 6 BILLION people. 6 billion individuals with hopes, dreams, and desires; many of them contradictory. I have spoken, just now, of how the courage and persistance will often net you what you desire. The heart of this though is knowing that you deserve what you desire, that life is not worth living if you do not live it on your own terms.
Many will contradict this view point. They will save that such a philosophy is selfish, self-centered, and not condusive to the well-being of soceity. They will say that compromise is the the only route to happiness, for how else will balance all these contradicting dreams and desires?
I say to hell with them, they know not what they say. Your dreams are your own, your desires are your own. They are your potential to fulfill. The naysayers and cowards will always have a million and one excuses to not persue the calling of their soul, the calling of their desires; and they will drag you down with them if you allow them to.
A horrible fate awaits those who give up their dreams and desires. Regret. The most horrible emotion in the human expirence. Knowing, with every passing moment, that happiness, success, and fulfillment could have been theirs had they but had courage. I can only imagine such pain; and I pity those, with a wretched heart breaking pity, who suffer such a fate. For they are expirencing hell while they still live.
The naysayers, the compromisers, the cowards. Why would you even think of sacrificing your soul, your desires, and your dreams for them? Why do you care what they think?
Happiness and independence are your birthright. You are not meant to to live the live of a servant, the live where your purpose is to make others happy. Their happiness is their own responsibilty. Why would you give up your happiness for their happiness? Why do they deserve happiness instead of you?
Why would you accept their thoughts instead of your own? Were you not born with you own brain? Do you not trust it? Then stand by it, it is you.
Are you timid? Are you afraid? Do you want to see your life filled with regret? To suffer hell on earth? No? Then cease being a coward. Go forth, and water your dreams with courage. Everything you desire can be yours, provided you have but the nerve to ask.
