Why do you use "gurl" rather than "girl"?

It doesn't prove anything, surely!

I'm interested to hear the logic behind it. Spelling things wrong is possibly the worst attempt at being cool, ever.

What does that have to do with it? Most of the people I've seen that say "boi" are those losers that drive around their "ricer" cars that they make look fast, but aren't.
