Ok I am pretty f*cking pumped up to start this routine. I've worked out in the past but I was a slacker and never got serious with it. This is the first time where I can honestly see myself doing something with it, just deep down the drive and motivation I can feel is crazy. Monday I will be picking up all my food & supplies for my diet, I ordered all the supplements off the internet so lets hope I get them by the time tuesday hits...that's when me and my buddy are getting our gym memberships.

I'm working out 3 days a week, heavy eccentric training for the first 6 weeks following Anthony Ellis's program from skinnyguy.net, after that i'm moving on to his 10x10 routine. I suggest this program to anyone who wants to even learn about body building, this book has some awesome sh*t in it.

This last week I've been indulging in all of life's...treats? Since it's going to be a long haul for the next 6 months of my life. Sunday is my last day of fun, no more drinking, no more fast food, all the fun stuff has come to an end. I'm saving that for next summer....when i'm huge and ripped like crazy and i'm fighting girls off of me.

Anyways i'll post my body stats and current pics up here tuesday when me and my buddy hit the gym. I'll be posting my new statistics each week and i'll maybe update the pics once a month. I'm using this thread as motivation and any tips along the way would be greatly appreciated, I don't plan to change the workout that Anthony has set up though, so any tips in general would be awesome.. Looking forward to some good gains.

I would not recommend Ellis' program nor a 10x10 (esp not a 10x10), something more basic is in order for someone of your training level

Yeah i agree with alex. Stay with basic stuff at this point, 10x10 isn't something you need to be doing , its more than a notion and you have to set it up the correct way and really have your diet together

Alright all my supplements arrived today, just noticed however that the multivitamin has iron in it, ive heard I shouldn't take any extra iron in because it can be bad for you? It's the twinlab daily one capsules. It has 10mg of iron in it, 56% of the daily value. Should I just buy a new multivitamin, if so whats a good one to buy?

Dude, you're doing everything completely backwards. You don't even need to be thinking about supplements at this point. It is like a pyramid, supplements are only a small fraction of the whole structure, you need to work on your base which is made up of heavy compound exercises (squat, deadlift, overhead press, etc.) and a clean high protein diet.

I'm definitely not one of the more experienced guys here but I've been around a while and been lifting for a little while now so I know the basics, figured I'd save WBA the trouble ;)
