these are little pads you place on your muscles, and they send electric shocks to tighten and contract the muscles........ supposedly the same effects of a regular work-out....

has anyone tried these out before? do they actually work?

I'm sure it can't get the same results as a real work-out with free weights..... but, does anyone know any concrete stuff about EMS?

nothing beats the real thing, so save your money, and besides they're pretty painful.

That stuff is JUNK. They dont contract your muscles NEARLY enough to get any sort of "workout"

Robin Williams had an extcellent standup comedy act about this.

"Strap one of those things to your head and repeat after me: "I. WILL. NOT. BUY. STUPID. SH1T. FOR. NO. REASON." :D

I've used one of those actual $20,000 electronic muscle contraction machine, and it still didn't do a damn thing. You would get more out of 50 crunches than strapping that on your abs for an hour.
