I did a search and didn't see anything that covered what I needed.

I'm really skinny and too make things worse I do martial arts like five days a week. I need SOOOOOOOO much food, because I'm trying to bulk up.

I know what I need to eat, I just can't get enough. I must have a very small stomach. Any tricks on how to expand my stomach and develop a bigger appepite?

Just found this link http://www.sosuave.com/vBulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26411&highlight=eating+more

It has some advice on what has a lot in it, but I'm looking more on how to EAT a lot more. I'm like 6'2 and 150 pounds and I'm lucky to get 1000 calories.

wow

Holy crap you only take in 1000 calories a day.

The only way to eat more is to gradually force youself to little by little. I used to never eat breakfast which was a huge mistake and I got a sick feeling whenever I ate it. I gradually started to eat more in the morning and eventually your body will get used to it.

I suspect that if you are running maintenance on 1000calories then gaining weight will be very easy for you. I have never heard of a male eating less than 2000calories minimum to maintain their weight at your weight and height. Since you take karate I think that your underestimating your calorie intake as you would shrivel up and die doing intense exersise like Karate and eating only 1000 cal. at your size.

To theoretically add a pound a week you need 500 calories over your maintenance every day. Now if you eat .8-1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh and eat up to 2000calories a day and lift hard you will make tremendous gains. This is not a lot of food either the trick will be getting enough protein in that calorie range.

I would recommend drinking weight gain shakes with high protein. I don't drink these regularily so I wouldn't know the good brands.

You have to force yourself to eat. There's no other way to eat more, unless you eat smarter. Foods high in calories and protein in a smaller amount. Your body will get used to more food fairly quickly.

I might get 1500 calories, but thats pushing it. :)

I was drinking two weight gains shakes(900 calories each) and eating alittle better than I do now and I was gaining about 1 or 2 pounds a week.
