went out with a girl for 6 months. i was a major afc. after break up tried to stop those ways. she went home (3 hours away) for the summer. ive let her do all the calling, ive been busy and seeing other girls. i went down to where she lives for a concert and she met up with me there. when i would make her laugh she would hug me and say how much she misses me. if i wouldn't pay attention to her for a while she would poke or tickle me. she randomly asked if ive had sex since we broke up. i said no and she said she didn't believe me. i want to get back with her because i have lots of fun with her. its not one-itis, i think it may still work and if im wrong ill gladly move on. the trouble is she lives 3 hours away. we're always busy so calling is hard so i decided to send an email. its says something to the effect of; you should come visit me two weekends from now. if you cant make it no big deal its just the only time im not really busy. its hard to have time together at shows and i never have time to talk on the phone so i think it would be a good idea.

is this a good way to get things started? i know emails aren't the best but i think it works in this situation. i thought it was a good idea to ask her to drive here to see me rather than the other way around so she would make the effort. bad move?

hell if the girl lived an hour away theres no way you could convince me to do it

i said i tried to stop my AFC ways. i know i haven't done a complete turn around and im not saying i have. but when i used to go along with everything she wanted and now im seeing other girls, ignoring her, never calling, and using C and F id say im making some progress. and im not saying im going to start dating her while shes away. she'll be back in a month for good, i just wanted to let her know im interested and what i want for when shes back. my question was more to the point of will this email hurt her Interest level in me which is currently high....is it a decent move?

and what are you going to ask her "will you go out with me when school starts?"

any way you do it, it comes out lame

give her a call in a week or so to see how things are going

see if she has interest

if she wants to make plans then she should drive the damn 6 hours
