I normally wear polo style collar shirts, but I picked up some button up dress shirts. I know this is stupid, but what's the casual way to wear these? Do you leave the 2 sides of the collar buttoned down? How do you fold the collar? How far up do you button the shirt? Pics if possible. Thanks for the tips.

Shirts that enable you to button down their collar are a "Knigge" no go! Next time go for the shirts without button down collar ;)

Miba what do you mean collar down?

Griz can you find a pic of the type of shirt you're talking about? Thanks.

I leave the top 3 unbuttoned, usually to show some chest hair but really because I got a chain and I like it. And depending on the weather, I'll either roll up my sleeves or keep them down. It's really a personal decision.

If you have pale skin, a white shirt is good as it darkens your complexion.

Wear it with a good pair of jeans that flows with the shirt you are wearing, and wear a white T-shirt inside of it while leaving the first 2 buttons of your dress shirt undone.
It's also a great time to show off a nice piece of jewelery around your neck. ;)

I never wear a T-shirt inside my shirts. Women like to see some skin too.
