*I had a really awkward dream last night*
So...I happened to have been watching some porno in my parents room with a male friend of mine(no, we're not gay). We were just sitting there chillin and then an older lady whom I didnt know walks into the room. She was holding a porn DVD and said she was looking for my dad. She also started telling me that she was the lady that my dad was cheating on my mom with(ive never seen this lady before). I started to get pissed and threatened her to leave, so she starts getting upset and starts slapping me with the porn dvd. In retaliation, I started hitting her with a porn dvd case too and my friend was drunk on the floor....yes, it was a very awkward dream.
Anyone dare to interpret?

Dude, I've heard this one before. It's not going to come as a surprise to you, but this is a dream about you, and your natural sexual desires. It's actually quite common.Rebound Material said:

The old lady in the dream represents an old, and undesirable desire. Because she's holding the porn dvd, an object that represents passive sexuality, and she's "the woman who your dad is cheating on your mom with," she represents an illicit, passive sexual desire which you consider to be unwanted, and have repressed.
Add to that the male friend, and you two watching porn together, again, a passive sexual activitiy, but this time with a homoerotic twist... well... chances are that this dream means that you want your daddy's ****.

This is all crap. Dreams are random. One theory I heard that scientist came up with is that dreams are a survival theatre that help assist with skills in order to surive. While our ancestors were always dreaming about getting chased by sabertooth tigers our dreams become confused due to modern society. This would explain nightmares and dreams about life threatening situations but perhaps not dreams with just random weird events. Also people are shown to improve in their ability at new tasks afetr a sleep or nap.
They came to the conclusion by allowing mice to sleep but not reach the stage of sleep where dreaming occurs (using a simple and clever method that i wont go into explaining). These mice didn't act normally in dangerous situations, such as staying in the open in the field rather than running for cover. They gave the mice some sort of drug which would have counteracted any sleep deprivation but they still acted the same and they concluded that it was the lack of dreaming that caused this unusual behavior. Wish I could find the article.
