Down period. Tinder help needed.

So I'm experiencing a drought when it comes to women currently. Earlier this year I had several plates and my ex that I was still banging but now we are at the stage where almost all the girls that were once plates are in relationships.

I work at home and my social circle, while large, is experiencing tough times as far as money goes, or if that isn't the case conflicting work schedules cause problems for everyone, meaning going out to public places is a rarity unless I go alone or with one other guy friend, which makes me look like I'm in a gay relationship. It's hard to meet new girls face to face. So many women around my small town are pregnant or married or some ****. Old plates and exes are fat and ugly now. So we move onto OLD.

So these past few months I've been using Tinder with middling success. I find my swipe to match ratio appalling considering my looks and how several months ago I'm banging 8s and 9s, and how much easier it is in reality to bag a chick. But it doesn't make sense. 27 years old, fit, handsome, INTERESTING bio and openers (a female friend showed me her Tinder with guys opening with "hey" and "how are you," f*cking boring cringeworthy stuff.) Thing is, I've matched with REALLY hot girls on Tinder, like 9.5s, but scoring dates with these chicks is flake city. I've got a date with a 7.5 this weekend but... that's it.

I actually just remade my Tinder and have gotten 5 matches out of most likely 150 swipes. I don't understand why OLD is so difficult for me personally considering all of the success stories I hear about Tinder on here. It doesn't make sense that I can match and hook a 9+ but can't get a string of 7s to match with me. Any advice? Am I coming across as too much of a challenge for 7s and 8s or something? I think my pictures and bio are great; these are the same pics that are tied to my Facebook and they get a good amount of female attention on them there.

I know there are people on the board that are completely against OLD, but my IRL well has gone almost dry here and there's not much I can do about it. ANY tips are appreciated here.

You don't really have to use over the top openers considering that matches already find you attractive at some level. Something like a famous song verse is simple enough to get them to reply. You'll look like a clown if you tried to send a long opener, all you have to do on Tinder is not to fvck the attraction up by being too much of a funny guy.

I have good response rates. That isn't really the issue. The issue is getting a match in the first place.

As I posted in another thread, search the forums for "POF Number grabs" and "POF number grabs 2" by Naughty Ninja...these posts should be stickied as they contain gold in the threads and lays out a cookie cutter method to getting tons of numbers. I modified it slightly to fir me a little better but 75% of what I did was based on that and I was pulling 6-8 numbers a day--some days up to 15...it literally got overwhelming

I think Tinder is dead or dying. I went from 10 quality matches/day two years ago, and it has dwindled down to a few per week now. Have tried everything, switched back to my old photos and profile, etc. Most of my matches are bots or fatties and I'm on the verge of uninstalling it. Seems this isn't limited to myself either. Really sucks because the app was an absolute goldmine for a short while.

The biggest hit came when they switched to pay-to-swipe. I'm sure the women became even more selective, and someone who might have made the grade before, is now passed over. I also noticed a decline once my age started with a 3, as the app seems to cater mainly to the 18-25 college crowd who probably set their age cutoff at 29. Oh well

tinder is hard work - period you should use as nothing more than target practice

ive had it for about 2 years and matched with around 600 women

out of those 600 only 3 ive actually laid

it does open a couple or doors , but if your using it as your main source for women your setting yourself up for a fall

I just deleted tinder.

Same problem: flakes.

Also bear in mind it's a woman's market.

Simply put- a 7 will think she is a 9 because a load of 9/10 guys want to bang her. They don't want to date her but she fools herself into thinking she is 9/10 and that all these dudes want to date her.

It's because you're a commodity.

Only time I didn't get flakes was when I booked the date to happen within 48 hours.

My advice is steer clear of OLD. If you use it then use POF or okcupid. But don't use it for relationships.

Also as a separate tip: have some humility. You come across as immensely arrogant and people won't take well to that on here.

That is exactly what I noticed with it. I used to get tons of matches until it became pay to swipe. Now instead of right swiping the top 20% of guys they are only right swiping the top 1% anymore.
