Married male, age 74

What is a few short years to live in hell. That is all I get around here.

No more I will pay the bills.

No more I will drive the car.

No more I will wash, iron & mend any clothes.

No more I will have to eat the leftover articles that was cooked the day before.

This is no way to live.

Either is it any way to die.

Her grub I can not eat.

At night I can not sleep.

I married the wrong nag-nag-nag and I lost my life.

W.S.

to the undertaker

We have got plenty money to give me a decent burial. Don't let my wife kid you by saying she has not got any money.

Give this note to the cops.

Give me liberty or give me death.

W.S.

LeftyLoosey,

This is very tragic. I also clicked on the link, and read a few more. That has to be the most depressing site I've ever seen.

It's really not healthy to focus on these things.

We have a choice on what we focus on, choose the good things in life.

Life really is what we make of it, we do have that choice. The poor bastard who wrote the note had a choice too....he could have divorced, and took his freedom.

Instead, he gave up.

We can not learn from the weak.

Man, that is some fukked up shyt.

I think Andrew (whoever he is) may have some issues with women for a while:

Single female, age 21

My dearest Andrew,

It seems as if I have been spending all my life apologizing to you for things that happened whether they were my fault or not.

I am enclosing your pin because I want you to think of what you took from me every time you see it.

I don't want you to think I would kill myself over you because you're not worth any emotion at all. It is what you cost me that hurts and nothing can replace it.

Good riddance.

For every washout that offs themselves there are a thousand more people fighting to stay alive.

Ehh. You can never really understand why someone kills themselves unless you were in their environment and went through the abuse that they went through. I can totally understand why some people would commit suicide. You get into a routine (sometimes you're taught this at a child) of taking the abuse from things that are out of your control (rape, death in the family, poverty, etc.) Well all have different degrees on thinking how much people should endure certain horrible things in life - in my case I wouldn't necessarily look down on someone for offing themselves if they've been sexually abused for their entire life and were too poor to seek help. (staying afloat just paying bills is hard enough and sometimes opportunities for a better life take time to reach)

Paris Hilton on suicide watch for staying in jail for the weekend is f*cking ridiculous in my opinion.

Not saying suicide is a good thing, but once in a while, based on what life has thrown at you, sometimes people can't handle it. Or just don't want to.

I heard someone quote "compare life to a really bad film - if it doesn't get good by the middle of it, no one is going to bust your balls for walking out the theater early".

That being said you could always sneak into another movie. :box:

The problem is, that most suicides are selfish. They don't think that someone has to clean up after them. Like emergency personel, or strangers, that find their bodies and are emotionally tramatized because of it.

If people want to off themselves, they should at least be considerate of others.

Like this guy..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dnJgjtiuno

No mess, ebb tide, body out to sea, and just gone.

I don't agree with it, I think it's a weak thing to do, but I think for the most part...if people knew that their suicide affected others, like it does, they would not do it.

It's a damn shame.

Well you can take a guy clinging to life in the squalor of what post-earthquake Hati has become after losing literally everything (including family), and then you can compare him to the 74 y.o. lifelong AFC who offs himself because he was too beta to man up and make the best of what he was and where he was.

I don't know who has it worse, but I do know who's got my respect.
