Don't dance so what other ways are there?

i consider myself pretty good at closing the deal. i feel like if i can hold a girl's attention for 20 seconds chances are i can eventually get her. but my weak link is getting there in the first place.

i KNOW the easiest way to meet girls is to go clubbing but i absolutely have a mental block when it comes to dancing.

so.... what are the best alternatives and lines of approach?

Actually clubs are the worst place to chat-up girls.Try bars.

I wrote a post about this recently search me and go to the one about club guide that I wrote concerning outside. Its got some tips. I find this forum is extremely lacking in this regard so.. thats what I am working on.

Stand at the bar in the club. Normally they are the quietest areas, as the bar staff need to be able to hear your orders. Chat to girls that are queuing to buy drinks etc. If there is a seating area that is great as well.

Aight u guys are definitely overthinking it.
A club where they play hip hop music, in cities (NY, Boston, Worcester - from my experience) is the closest place you will find to a human mating ground. Simple as that. If im "feeling it" im successful with girls and having alot of fun, getting IOI's, grinding, etc. But if im feeling like "oh man im not good enough, theyre out of my league bla bla bla" - forget about it.
Walk into the club with ur boys, have a positive attitude, feel invinsible, untouchable, king of the world type feeling. I'm reading this stuff u guys write: chatting a girl up, buying drinks, c+f... I have this buddy who is 6'2'', but pretty big, average looking, and cannot tie 2 words together and hes pulling more b!tches at the club that all of u. I see him grind with this chick he looks like a raw sexual beast out there and thats what works. You need to get in that sexual mode, and feel your power. Get some basic moves down and u'll be fine. Overthinking is ur worst enemy at the club

sorry, at the club u gotta at least move a little. but honestly, feeling powerful and sexual will make up about 90% of ur "dancing" skills lol. by the way I may be talking about slightly different type clubs...

Go with a group of people (guys and girls) for social proof and then get trashed and then you will do fine.

The payoff that you get from being able to dance is well worth learning how to. I'm still baffled when guys avoid dancing even more than having a woman ask him to hold her purse.

ive been dancing for 5 years and when i goto clubs and although it helps and may get some girls approaching you, it is second to good conversation/approach skills. I can draw alot of attention to myself. I dont get play purely from that still.. (i thought i would when i started learning).. but without game im either 'purely entertainment', a show off, or girls are intimidated because im a bit TOO good to dance with (eg: they dont know how they can dance with me to go with what im doin)
