Doing college without being in a fraternity (SEC school)

I recently transferred from Arizona State University to UGA because my family moved out here. Started my first semester a few days ago and I realized I had just missed rush. My situation is pretty complicated.

I am a junior here and there are so many pretty girls all over the place, but there is also a catch.

They are ALL in sororities or wear sorority shirts. It is like the second a girl looks good they require her to wear a sorority shirt or something, that is how I feel like down here. I am just getting settled into Athens as well so I am still kind of new here.

What I want to know from college guys here is that is it possible to get laid a lot at an SEC school if you aren't in a frat?

First, excuse my wall of text and grammar because I am drunk typing on my iphone. Now, I go to college at University of Tennessee, so I know exactly what you are talking about. I was in your position my first half of freshmen year. The most appealling girls had sorority letters, so I never had a chance with them. Most sorority girls are shallow, so they will not even throw you a pitch unless you are in a fraternity. I decided to join a fraternity later on and I learned how evil these girls are. Needless to say, I learned that these girls were even stuck up around fraternity guys. The 10 percent rule largely applies to this. 10 percent of the guys are either good looking frat guys or frat guys with beer guts that try to act southern, and they are ****ing most of those girls. These girls are nothing but stuck up spoiled rich girls from Atlanta or out of state that think they are god's gift. Yes, they might act different individually, but put them in the chicken herd with their sisters and you will see the real them. These girls are nothing but monsters, so do not let their looks fool you. If I were you, I would just find an independent girl because these girls are not worth your time.

Dude Athens...UGA has the rep for being the easy town to score in among SEC schools......just hit up the bars and clubs and go for it...i went to Auburn and was in a frat with guys who got laid all the time in Auburn and they all would tell me time after time how incredibly easy it was in Athens...you are lucky many...i wouldn't trade my college experience at an SEC school for anyhthing in the world....wow i had so much fun in those days...

Listen shack, you go to a traditional southern school where greeks dominate the school system. You do not go to some yankee school where fraternities are full of block letter wearing pussies. Either lie in a bar that you are in a frat and risk getting your ass kicked or just give it up. In addition, I can easily tell if a person is in a fraternity or not just on how he dresses and acts. Being in a fraternity in a SEC school gives you higher status than most athletes accept for white baseball players and the top white football players. The idol guy for these women are white men that wear clothing that brings up the old south and act country. Notice I said act, not are. The only sorority girls I know that date geeds are the ones with high school bfs that go to another school or army. Other than that, there should be plenty of hot gdi girls for you. If you want sorority girls that bad than rush a fraternity. Since it is a SEC school, they are more selective and will most likely haze your balls off.

The plenty of girls. Sorority girls typically have the stereotype of being stuck up, egotistical *****s. Fraternity guys typically have the stereotype of being ****y, brain-dead, egotistical douche bags. These stereotypes happen for a reason. The reason fraternity guys get with sorority girls is because their stereotypes click together. There's plenty of girls who aren't in sororities who are just as or more attractive as sorority girls without the *****y attitude. Fraternity dudes will always be at their house's party because they act like it's war between the other letters just because one fraternity hazes more and pays more fees to have friends so you won't find them in a lot of places.

I was only in a frat for one semester before quitting...yes, if u are in a frat, you have it made...instant high status and social proof....however, i still got laid plenty just by hitting up parties and bras at Auburn...and Athens is a gold mine compared to Auburn.......you really have no excuse....just go out and approach approach and dance at the big clubs with chicks....

Don't lie about being in a frat...easy way to either get your ass kicked or humiliated..it has happened to me more than once...also, you can dress like frat guys if you like that style..

And frankly, sooner or later, if i were u, i would join a frat....it is so much unbelievable fun if you like to party and beautiful girls at your disposal and u will make lot's of good friends...it is WELL worth the money and effort...don't listen to the haters who say being in a frat is lame and buying friends...they are just haters...a lot of frat guys are in fact lame douches, but ther are also really cool ones.

There's cool people in any social circle, if you can find a close group of friends to hang out with without paying thousands of dollars and getting the stereotype, why wouldn't you?

Nope not at all. Just pretty much every frat guy I've known where I go to school is a tool with a big ego. Watching them play in the frat sport leagues is pathetic, half of them are uncoordinated as anything yet they act like they're competing for the ultimate prize.

If u like partying, you can't beat a frat...u just have to pick a good one...but there are always parties available and girls available....and gameday is fricking awesome if u are in a frat...i used to invite random girls to our gameday parties and always ended up banging them afterwards.....non sorority girls...and there would also always be sorority girls for nice casual fun...you are one of those people who stubbornly hates frats...all i can say is i joined one and have zero regrets......only thing funner i have done in my adult life is travelling to Asia and living here.

Ha! Sounds just like any other cliquey, high class, status-obsessed, FAKE, stuck up girl. Definitely gotta watch for these Demons. They love to hang around the "cool" (fake) crowd, and frequent their scenes (bars, parties, ***** hen-houses). Hate 'em all. Getting involved with them doesn't change them one bit. Most of them are HUGE players, users, and manipulators. They're nothing more than trophies and ONS material. Fake beyond belief.

Please keep your bitterness towards fraternities out of this, I am trying to get help here and not get some guy's opinion on how bad they are as people. They may be bad people but the fact is they have access to the parties and girls.

Now in my case here is the issue, I cannot rush a frat at UGA, I am a junior and I have too many credit hours under my belt. Yet what I do want is access to some of the better looking girls at my university all of whom are in a sorority.

So if anyone other than someone who is very biased towards frats and another person that is biased against them has advice to offer, please offer it.

I am not looking for some long term relationships so personality doesn't mean ****, I am looking for looks only. Also I am a Hispanic who looks like Mario Lopez.

If u look like Mario Lopez than just start randomly dancing with hot chicks on the dance floor at clubs and you WILL bang a certain percentage of them...if u really do look that good...u just have to accept that a lot of them will also reject you....back in my younger better looking days, i could randomly dance with almost any chick and be immediately making out with her and a decent chance to pull a lay...now that i am in my 30s and a little heavier and older looking, i have to use more verbal game though or at least be dancing damn good and drawing attention from multiple women at once instead of just randomly grinding a chick like i used to could pull off...
