Does my professor like me or is it all in my head?

Hey guys =)

I'm a 3rd year college student (female) and would like some opinions on a professor (about 40 years old) since many of you may understand his body language/behavior better than me.

Throughout the semester, I noticed that he came near me a lot during lectures and would almost always come to look at my paper (sometimes more than once). I'm not a star student or anything nor am I one of those students who need "special" attention. There was also one point where he stared straight at me for more than three seconds and when he sometimes talked to other students he would look at me. During exams, I think I've felt his stares while concentrating on my test. So I would look up to make sure I'm not being paranoid and notice him quickly look the other way or to the side. All this lead me to believe that he liked me so I developed a crush on him.

But when I visited him during his office hours he seemed uninterested in making conversation with me. For instance, I would ask him questions (not personal or weird questions, but questions about his country and stuff), yet he would rarely ask questions about myself. And sometimes he would hold eye contact and other times not.

Do you guys think he may have a slight interest in me or am I just overanalyzing?

You need to get a real man in your life, he is showing ZERO interest.

Hahaha on the "stare thing" during tests. I am in Graduate school....I guess ALL my female teachers liked me since they all do the same thing during lectures, etc! *faceplam*

I know it's normal for professors to watch students during tests. My point is I would feel him looking in my direction longer than he should.

Oh totally, don't deceive yourself, if only you really had a "guy" talk before. I've talked to plenty of 40 year olds and quite honestly, they're just as horny as a 20 year old.

My older uncle of about 60 years old dates a 20 year girl, because his socioeconomic status allows him to. Hugh Hefner dates girls a quarter of his age.

What he's doing is fighting his social conditioning, but I can guarantee you that if he had the chance to do the hanky panky with you no strings, that he totally would.

We're here for two reasons as a species, survival and replication.

Anyway, play your cards right and I'm sure you could score your professor.
