Does anyone know a good pair of earplugs to wear while sleeping?

I can't stand being woken up by the sound of my roommate ****ing random girls anymore. I need to be up all day tomorrow and they wake me up with them stomping in at 2 something in the morning. Then all I can hear is her getting ****ed. I can't stand this anymore. It doesn't help that it's not just the sound, the truth is I'm envious of the guy. I can't get laid if my life depended on it and he's with different girls all the time. I doubt I'll ever get good with girls let alone as good as him. And I don't need the sound as a reminder. So anyone know any good earplugs so I can get a good night's rest?

I wear these "Sparkplug" earplugs, cheap from the welding shop. Change them out when the get dry.

There are tan ones that I sleep with almost every night. "Hearos" I think they're called.

I don't find it comfortable to sleep with headphones on. I want to find a pair of earplugs that are comfortable to sleep with (and which are effective at blocking sound).

I prefer using a box fan. The noise drowns out virtually everything and makes for a pleasant sleeping environment.

Probably the problem is not the sound itself but what's behind it,if you just finished fvcking like your mates you would not probably pay all that attention to the noise and fall asleep.

About ear plugs,I worked in the night for some months so got used to sleep in day time and needed ear plugs for the everyday noises but yet didn't find any that completely isolate,you can still hear something even if the sound is weaker.
And also keep in mind that noises are different than vibrations,if someone is knocking on a door is not the same as some music somewhere else.
Hope I made myself clear.

Instead of the earplugs try to get a different accommodation or tell your mate to shut the fvck up after midnight since it's your right to sleep properly,you probably are not as cool as him when it comes of girls but at least you're not scum that dont give a fvck about disturbing other people while having fun.
I would not surprised if he make that noise in purpose as some kind of exhibitionists althouth those are usually girls.

You can get some good ones at drugstores like Walgreens or CVS. They're very cheap, like $5 for a big box. I think they're made of some kind of foam, but they're pretty good at blocking noise. I used to wear them in loud bars.
