Some background info - he was an assistant coach for the Dallas Cowboys before getting hired to coach the post-Katrina New Orleans Saints. Last year, he moved back to Dallas, commuting by jet (but probably spending a least a few long work nights during the season in New Orleans), citing it was in the best interest of his family.

Methinks that his wife made him do that, as she felt that the New Orleans area did not have the proper tony subdivision that she felt her family deserved. It seems that even though he was a Super Bowl (XLIV) winning coach, he felt that he still had to supplicate to her. A man that calls the gutsiest call in Super Bowl history - the 2nd half opening onside kickoff - could not muster the balls to put his women in her place.

I'm not sure if she figured that with his $7M salary (minus this year, as he has been suspended by the NFL for the "Bountygage" scandal), she has enough assets of previously earned income and I'm sure future alimony & child support to just move on - of he decided to grow a pair and told her to shape up of he was going to ship out.

Anyway, as you can see in the pic, he's a good looking man in his late 40's, and as the leader of the Saints' first Super Bowl victory, I think that there will be a plethora of Saints fannettes that will want to make their acquaintance.

The timing of this divorce is quite telling. So much for loving and supporting each other in good and bad times!

And why the hell do guys leave the houses that they bought with their hard earned money? If we're living in times of equality, then it's only fair that the spouse who's getting a free ride should find a hotel.

She wants to have full custody of the children and all the decision-making power relating to them. But of course, she still wants daddy's money!

If she gets her way (and she may well), she's going to assassinate his character among his children, live in his house and spend his money.

Talk about a bad deal!

From New Orleans, Louisiana to Atlanta, Georgia!!!
Being that I'm from New Orleans myself, of course this coach would have high sexual market value. I lived in N.O. when the Saints were called the Aint's!

Damn near anybody who plays in the NFL and coaches in it has high sexual market value. Because it's very tough to get a job in it!

In this day and age, f**k marriage. It's not that good for men, but divorce is very beneficial to the woman. It's things like this that make me wonder if true love really exists.

Feminists. The way they see it, it's easier to warm a millionaire's bed than to work for it. Because women don't genuinely fall in love, men do.

It's very rare that men get custody of the children.

You better believe it.

Talk about a bad deal!

The best way to protect your assets is to NOT F**KIN' GET MARRIED!

I agree on all your points. I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that in the event of a divorce, you should never vacate the house. That's because whoever is occupying the house at the time of the divorce settlement is more likely to get it.

Of course, that could cause other potential problems. If your wife is enough of a cvnt, she could claim that you beat her in order to get you evicted and to make you look bad in the settlement. Even loud screaming can constitute a domestic disturbance and who are the cops more likely to kick out?

And of course, because of our stupid societal norms, you might be judged an @$$hole because you kicked that poor lady out of the house.....even if it's paid for with your hard earned money.
