Has anyone else noticed that there are a load of documentaries that dont have a conclusion? Documentaries like "Do aliens exist?" or "Is psychic phenomena possible?" that go into interviews with scientists, run some questionable video footage, give an in depth history lesson, and then conclude that it still remains a mystery?!
I already know that aliens and psychic phenomena are a mystery, so why do I need to watch a documentary and interviews with scientists to tell me that? I mean seriously, why the **** do people make documentaries that prove nothing? It would be easier and make more sense to not make documentaries until something has been proven.
And why do documentaries and books always go into unnecessary details? I.e. "This is Derek ****, he is a physicist at P.I.S.S. P.I.S.S is an acronym for Psychic Institute for Science Studies. It was founded in 1973 by Arthur Dildo, who investigated the effects of copper sulphate falling from a varied heights onto soil...blah blah blah..."
The conclusion I usually reach from this is that there are science labs all over the world taking tax payers' money, messing around and proving NOTHING! Close the fvckers down and renovate a few ghettos!!
I'm frustrated because it's just so hard to learn something these days without having to wade through tonnes of trivial and meaningless bull****! You can't research on the net without being bombarded with adverts, and even school, college, university and many "educational" books are exactly the same - 99% waffle and 1% useful facts.
