Obviously, less intelligent people are poorer - and intelligent people tend to know enough to take care of themselves. But even with that bias, it seems that unintelligent, ugly women are not pursued by non-poor men, whereas unintelligent but attractive women are, to some extent. (Intelligent & ugly women either go for equally intelligent, ugly men, or simply become old maids.) The net effect is that attractiveness bubbles up to wealth.

Of course, this is not always the case. There are plenty of unintelligent, attractive women that get knocked up by some equally unintelligent, attractive men (how would strip joints get talent without them? :crackup But it seems that the chance of a poor woman being ugly is higher than the chance of a woman in the general population.

I'd guess that if you were graph "wealth" vs. "looks" for women, you'd get a peak at around 6-7.

Not trying to be a smart arse but that sounds like fuggo feminist wishful thinking to me. Besides "intelligence" for women these days is a sliding scale. Most chicks and their beta drones will associate "intelligence" with the standard formula: Chick earns her fem-bot wings in ever increasing worthless degree, prepped for her long and unproductive paper shuffling 9 to 5 cubicle "career", which usually precedes cats, red wine, lonely nights and regret. Which is everything but intelligent. I've banged enough of these "intelligent" chicks to know the routine. I don't shed a tear for them or anything but I do pity them a bit, generally when my cvms running down the crack of her ass and I'm trying to make my exit without burning bridges.

I personally prefer high looks/high intelligence/and a proper gender identity when it comes to women.

Not sure why I would ever want to sacrifice on looks just because she's intelligent as if I am given a certain "sum" of those to begin with.

Attractive women will always have more opportunities to get their paws on wealth. This doesn't mean they'll be smart enough to take advantage of those opportunities.

In youth.. when a woman's body is at peak resilience against disease, genetic defects and aging... its easy for her to look attractive regardless of her economic situation. Young girls with good genes will generally look good PERIOD.

However, this changes over time with the ones in bad economic conditions. They have less tools to fight aging. They lack knowledge and access to proper nutrition, exercise and cosmetic products / procedures. So the result is--> the hot rich girl stays hot a lot longer than the hot poor girl.

The hot poor girl will get knocked-up, fat, sick and wrinkly way before the hot rich girl (usually). She'll likely drink booze and fry her skin in the sun until it looks like leather. Her teeth will decay and her crows feet will spread to her ears... OR she'll just get really, really fat. Not sexy.

LOL. Hilarious what girls call 'careers' these days. I remember when I lived in Boston a few years ago every girl between 22 and 30 with a steady job called herself a "young professional". Sitting at a receptionist's desk answering phone calls or doing glorified clerical duties does not make make you a professional, sorry. Neither does being a hair stylist, a sales rep, or personal trainer. All necessary jobs, and props to them for working, but unless you have a graduate degree and a state/federal license of some sort, don't call yourself a professional.

I was telling her that female beauty is essentially a type of currency. Because being beautiful will automatically raise a woman's social status since she will be able to attract a richer man.

So I would venture to say looks (in women at least) tends to correlate with wealth. Not every time, of course, but on average.

If you take 100 beautiful women and 100 ugly women, I think you'll find that the average wealth of the 100 beautiful women is higher than the average wealth of the 100 ugly women.

Also, if you were to take 100 beautiful girls and 100 ugly girls and start them in life at the same socioecomic level, and measured again 50 years later, you'd find that the average wealth of the beautiful women was higher than the ugly ones.

Most of the attractive women I've seen aren't really intelligent as much as they are street smart and know how to use their good looks to hustle their way into a good paying job.

Let's take corporate America as an example. We're beginning to see a lot of attractive women in high positions on the corporate organizational chart because they knew how to hustle the old guys (mostly baby boomers) by playing to their vanity. They probably got their degree, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're smart or capable.

I believe people often confuse savvy with intelligence, and I believe people often associate financial success with intelligence. And I think most of the attractive women we see whom we perceive as intelligent were actually just savvy enough to know that beauty improves the chances for success.

Also back to our corporate america example, there's a lot of ugly women in positions of power too. But these women got there by playing politics and forming female cliques within the office and collectively shield each other. I've noticed that they generally are weary of the attractive ones. Also, the attractive ones don't tend to form female cliques, rather they amass a large following of beta as$-kissers and THAT is how they shield themselves. And since these beta chumps are usually technically competent yet socially inept, they carry the attractive girls weight in the corporate setting and she never has to really work.

Now conversely, if a woman is not savvy enough to understand the correlation between looks and financial success, she will probably end up being poor. Being poor limits the amount of resources available to maintain looks and so it's a vicious cycle.

The Kardashians know how to enhance their appearances and today more than ever before is it becoming more easy for women who are relatively plain, to do this. Smart girls who go to the right makeup school can be stunners when it suits them, other things like spraytans and the right kind of form fitting outfits can do this. The kind of products available for women in the next few years to do this will be amazing. Gina Rhinehart is the richest women in the world and there is no way many guys would want to bang her.
