Do you think that fat women are becoming less ashamed?

A FAT GIRL DANCING: I Didn't Let A 100-Pound Weight Gain Stop Me From Doing What I Love, And I Hope You Wouldn't Either
Between this article and the popular TV show that has a fat chick always getting naked, I get the feeling that fat women, instead of remaining ashamed as they had been, are now much more "proud" of themselves and seem to not be ashamed - and even now shame men that find them disgusting.

My opinion:

It's just odd thinking about where we've gone in society. We've started shaming men for being masculine and sexual, and now the pro-fat propaganda is telling men that fat is beautiful and shames men who think otherwise. Women are trying to control men's nature. They really do run this world - or at least that's their goal.

When I was in high school, "cheerleader" and "skinny" were synonyms. They were all pencil-thin and hot, which is why they got to be cheerleaders. I think my school had one halfway chunky chick on the squad, but they let her be a cheerleader because she was good at gymnastics. Everyone still kinda snickered, though.

Today, they are all fat! Cheerleader does not mean 'skinny' any more. They range from chunky to downright overweight. Occasionally, espn will air the national dance championship or whatever it is. These are supposed to be the best cheerleaders in the nation, and they are all still chunky! I don't think they can even do the same moves they could 20 years ago, where they would take the smallest one, who weighed about 90 pounds, and throw her up in the air. Today's young American woman is not built for throwing.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

The condition is well embraced now in our society. Therefore there is no need for them to be ashamed of it. My only concerns , and more appropriately fear, are effects it will have on our future generations.
