Do you think single, "mature" woman knowingly implanting aneuploid IVF embryo is being solipsistic?

I was reading this article about single, "mature" women who are so old that all of their IVF embryos are aneuploid (i.e., chromosomal abnormality) are going through with the procedure anyway! (It should be noted that sometimes these abnormalities are false positives.)
