Happy birthday, Brian.

They're different exercises, I do them with different variations so can't compare.
Nothing like a few huyndred situps, though.

I don't really like either. The "super-crunch" is ok, where you start from the upright crunch motion, flex, and gradually go down slow as possible.

Martial arts classes I've been in have you yell your count while you go up during regular crunches, which helps to hit the abs harder.

I prefer sitsup, but only if I do these things:

Don't go to high when doing situps. You'll know you're too high when you stop feeling the tension in your abs. Also, keep your back straight. To do this, try to make your shoulder touch the floor first when you come down, your lower back should touch last if its gonna touch at all.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

I do a mixture of scrunches (legs down, legs up for lower abs, then cross overs), and also those exercises where you bend your knees, push them out a bit, and then sit up so that your finger tips touch your knees.

To get definition you really need to burn off that tummy fat. I'm not there yet.

The thing is most of the guys here probably rely on other more compound weight lifts to work their abs. Squats work a lot including legs & abs. Dips work a LOT of your upper body + abs. Pull ups, Pull up curls. You just have to use your abs during other lifts its where a lot of your power & stability comes from anyway.
