Mystery is real advocate for the peacocking but he does it during the day as well. I really couldnt see a normal person wearing goggles while at the supermarket.

Do you guys peacock in everyday life? say at work or just around town? What do you guys do then?

I don't but think its a good idea. Any attention is better than not being noticed at all.

I dress well (usually), but not like a clown.

Being noticed is good.

I think the term peacocking is taken too literally. Belt buckles, crazy watches, bracelets/necklaces, or a cool hat are more realistic examples of peacocking.

I peacock but not in the same way mystery do.

I dress well. I wear cool, trendy and expensive clothes, i dont look like some back to the 80's wierd guy or some punk. My look is all about the million dollar look, look like you have style, look like if you keep up with the times, and look like your worth a million bucks.

This is accomplished by relying on the gay people over at Dolce & Gabbana with some help from the gay people at Prada and Gucci. Dont wear the most flashy stuff they got, but wear the cool stuff. Girls knows clothes, wearing designer clothing is a + in most girls books, however, wearing designer clothing and trying to show of the brand, is not (meaning, do not wear a huge skirt with "Gucci" typed all over it, wear something more... conservative..)

Its fun, because girls definately notice what you wear, often girls give me compliments\ask about my clothes, which allways opens up for some C+f openers. I also wear a very nice watch, but thats more for just "boosting" my social status than for converstation openers with girls.

Wearing nice, expensive clothes also makes you feel good, so your more confident when you try to approach etc.

I dont know how many times girls have commented on my shoes to me, but its quite a few. (Tip: Girls dig prada shoes)

The concept of peacocking is to have an item or two stick out that makes for a conversation starter. Mystery uses goggles, which I think is just dumb. I usually wear a nice watch instead, a lot of women are pretty quick to see it.

Well, there
s something to be said for just naturally wearing something that shows you off a little, or can start a conversation.

I have an M ring that I wear. Shows a little financial status there.

I have these really cool red sunglasses (I don't ALWAYS wear them, but when I want to look cool, I'll throw them on)

I also have a few shirts that are in "my colors" 1 of them, (my company logo) has this kind of "superhero" kind of design to it. As lame as it might sound, I feel a little more bad ass in it.

Peacocking is dressing to get attention, a way to stand out from the pack and a good way to break the ice in conversations.

The past few days, I realized I was doing that without realizing it. One day I wore a shirt that said "Silence is golden, Duck tape is Silver" and it brought alot of attention and good bit of laughs from guys and girls, including a pretty cute girl when I sitting on a train. Another time I wore an orange shirt with a really cool stick-figure drawing that created a few fun convos. Then I wore a bright yellow polo shirt (and yes, it did look good on me), brought more attention too. Basically, peacocking doesn't need some really usual item, just something to make one stand out from the pack.

I don't peacock like crazy (though I used to bring my Ukulele around town with me),

I have a good body, not bragging, but I do. And I dress to show it off, and wear a few interesting items for women to comment on, like a necklace, headphones, bracelet etc...

But I don't go nuts with it. I get more attention from the things I do, not the things I wear. I practice Parkour, so I'm always really active when I'm out.

Magic tricks and dressing goofy? Isn't that lame? I don't think attention is always better than no attention. There is such a thing as negative attention.

I see a lot of low profile guys with really attractive girls without being a gimick.

I have a few long-sleeve shirts that have more interesting patterns on them. One is cowboy-style, white, with pretty blue flowers. You would not believe how many comments I get on this thing.

Sometimes it helps to give the girls something to open YOU with, no?

I don't really rely much on it...had some peircings when I was younger if that counts. Nowadays I just try to look sharp and clean cut, and that stands out enough if you do it right.

I wore a bright yellow soccer shirt to a monster truck rally, and was chosen out of a crowd of 16,000 people to do a fun little game. I lost, but that is one experience of peacocking.

I like to stand out in a crowd and do different things.
