Why is it that.. being sweet is never emphasized through a don juan's character...

I have asked many girls what they look for in a guy and its often.. that he is SWEET and FUNNY.

Funny is emphasized but sweetness is not as far as a don juan is depicted in this site.

By sweet im not talking about ... sending the girl flowers or chocoloate to buy her love.. and im also not talking about complimenting her in the way that is direct like..."you look hot and beautiful today" that is not what i mean..
The sweet talk i am talking about is the kind where you flatter the girl in the way that it is indirect.... and charm her like that..
for instance i believe the indirect sweetness is the type that would get the girl all over you... but the direct kind is just coming on too strong and seems desperate.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
...

Women say a lot of things.

Every time a girl has ever told me, "You're sweet.." or "That's so sweet..." the next word out of her mouth has always been, "but..."

I think "sweet" is an ambiguous term that can refer to just about anything. Certain kinds of "sweet" can make a girl fall all over you. Others can send her running.

The last time a girl said I was sweet, it confused me a bit. I thought to myself, "What do you mean by sweet? I'm NICE, friendship sweet, or take me big daddy sweet."

I think it was the latter. We'll see...

The "sweet" that you're talking about is simply being charming. Nice guys still finish last with women...

Plus, you don't need to teach that. Everyone who was a "nice guy" was extremely sweet. That doesn't get you the girl. After you've got her, part of the way to keep her is to randomly do sweet things. If you do them often, you lose your challenge factor, and she takes it for granted.

Nothing is wrong with it in fact I think its a good thing, but I wouldn't refer to it as being sweet personally. I like charming much better, it doesn't infer the weak AFC mindset. *shrug*

Being sweet is cool as long as she EARNS it. Otherwise you are just kissing her ass dude. When she does something nice for you, cooks you dinner, gives you a massage, etc. Reward her with your sweetness. Offer too much of the sweets and she will take you for granted. There is a difference between charming sweet and pushover sweet. IMO, a nice way to initiate sweetness is to ask her to do you a favor and then reward her afterwards. She will have a greater appreciation for something that she has worked for!

I personally hate the term, it is way too cutesy and platonic methinks. I'll take "****y", "sexy" and "hot" over "sweet" ANY DAY
