So here is the short version of the past 4-5 months. I started using Dj techniques in the fall and they were actually working. I had alot of confidence and found one girl that i got attached to. We started officially dating two months ago and slowly but surely i started losing the stuff that I was taught here. I was always with her and thought i fell for her. I also should mention that she was the first real gf i had in like 5 years and I am a junior in college. So anyways she loses interest in me and i catch her cheating on me and she told me she just didnt like me anymore. I was doing everything that i was told not to such as giving compliments and always being avaliable to her. I turned into an AFC again. The break up was 3 weeks ago and i still think about her. I think I need to start from scratch again because i lost alot of my confidence. What do you guys think?

I'm in a similar situation. Trouble is women make you feel like everythings ok then before you know it the relationship is in trouble. I'm falling into this trap too.

Sorry to hear about your breakup bro.. I can tell you a lot of us have been there and have come out fine on the other side.

As far as getting your DJism back, it may take a little while. First you must gain your confidence back and then you can start worrying about picking up women. It may take a few weeks or a few months, but it will return eventually. Don't try and rush your way into things and just go at a comfortable pace. Don't listen to any of this "rebound" crap. If you're going to get a rebound, make sure you at least get a quality girl who isn't a slut. Otherwise, you will not feel any better.

You can start from scratch.
You can learn your lesson from experience.
You can move on and forget about her.

I would just take your loss and move on with the more knowledge you have.
