Ex girl invites me out to California for a weekend, I make plans to be off work, book a ticket, plan on bringing my dog too. Because I'm arriving on a Thursday and leaving on a Monday I figure she'd be working daytime, so I decided to rent a car.

I've asked her three times for her new address out there and she's being evasive about giving it to me...god knows why. She was the one who didn't want me to get a hotel room. If she has some problem with me knowing her address yet planned on picking me up at the airport, where did she think she was going to take me? It's not like I wouldn't find out the address anyway when she took me to her place.

So I called her out on the bull$h1t over the weekend, saying that I was making a real effort, and rather than being eager, sweet, and/or excited, she was acting like she didn't want me to come, and I said that though I'd rather not have to, I can always cancel the trip, and left it at that. Haven't heard anything.

I've got about 2 and a half weeks before the trip so I don't have to cancel immediately. It really would probably be too expensive to go from hotel to hotel, otherwise I'd go and explore on my own.

If I'm forced to cancel though, that's it forever. I'm done with this one completely.

1. If you're going over to enjoy yourself - Go
2. If you're going over to spend time with her - Cancel

Fvck this b!tch, she has totally no respect for you as a basic human being and you should treat her as such.

That being said, if I were in your shoes I would still go and figure out my own logistics instead.

She mentioned me coming out there multiple times. I had a ticket I had to use by the end of October anyway, so it wasn't really dropping my life for her.

She started getting in touch in April and the trip wasn't on the books until August. But amazing how as soon as the ticket was booked she completely changed.

if you want to go to cali, go, if not i think you should cancel if you don't hear from her in a few days.

regardless if she flakes, never speak to the ***** again, tell her you're done with her **** and block her on absolutely everything you can think of

I can thank her for showing me who she is.

A woman who is genuinely interested would have given me her address without question the first time I asked and would be excited and eager to see me.

Sounds like this girl has no respect for you or your time. Maybe she invited you to see if you'd actually come, but never thought you were serious about it. Now you've done all the work to make it happen and she's not really feeling it after all.

This is so typical of the modern girl with the "all about me" agenda. She is wasting your time and jerking you around. I had a similar situation where I was making a genuine effort to reconnect with someone. She was playing along nicely but once it became apparent that I was not fvcking around and I was serious about my intention to reconnect, she totally flipped the script on me and backed out. On top of it I got a bunch of "this is all your fault" bullsh*t drama. That was the icing on the cake. Being strung along can really piss you off. But a quality, mature woman who is worth your time would be straight up with you. So you know what you're dealing with here after all.

I agree with the other guys. Whether you go on your trip (or not) I'd never talk to this b*tch again. Ever. After this nonsense she doesn't deserve the time of day from you. I'd pretty much say this is unforgivable and block her for good.

It was a free ticket I had to use by the end of next month from an earlier cancelled flight (earlier flight had nothing to do with this one). No money spent.

I am ejecting.
