They said that it depends on what you want. If you want a sympathetic ear then you want a woman. If you want an honest and direct evaluator of your issue then you want a guy. If you don't mind your friend gossiping about what you just confided in them then you want a woman. If you don't mind your friend forgetting what you just told them, then you want a guy.

One close girl friend and one close guy friend is what I have. It seems to be a perfect combination. Im a freshmen in college btw and just started school.

My girl friend introduces and talks me up to her friends and aquantences. She legitly goes out looking to find a girl for me sometimes. We often joke about this odd relationship after I do her a favor(such as pretending to be her boyfriend to get rid of a guy. haha), that she owes me a vagina in the near future.

The guy friend is my wingman and to bounce ideas off. We keep each other level headed and down to earth.



I agree with your analysis too; in the end I say having both is best.
