Do girls overall like guys who are involved in Politics?

I don't mean someone really high level like Congressman or anything but someone fairly low level, like a Village Trustee or Committeeman for one of the major political parties (Democrat or Republican)?

Is having a low level local political office a big plus, small plus, a minus?

How do girls view politicians?

Would it be impressive to mention that I am an elected official, even if its a small party office?

From what i've experienced, i can't say that just because you have a specific title that women are gonna be into you. Me for instance, i'm a musician..now, the stereotype everyone thinks is that guys who are musicians and play in bands get tons of hot chicks. Not the case at all. It's true, it's all about how "smooth" you are, not what your title is.

Well surley if you're a musician it gives you something to talk about.

I mean especially for an early part of a relationship when you're introducing eachother and getting to know eachother. Is being a politician a good thing there that helps you get the foot in the door?

I am running for office in the very near future (next election cycle, petitions go out this fall, I'm excited, I've got my organization and my ego, so now its time to rock n' roll, but uh.. sorry rambling), but I am curious if this helps with picking up girls.

I thought it might be cool rather to ask for a phone number after meeting someone to give them a card that says "Village Trustee" or "Republican (or Democrat) Commmitteeman".

Since part of being a Don Juan is to be unavailable at some times to show her you have a life, I am wondering if one could use something like a town hall meeting or something as the excuse to show her not only you have a life but you're somewhat important.

I don't know, I'm just thinkin. But my thoughts are biased since I'm running for office and I am single, but I would really like to hear from the ladies or anyone else what they think.

At the very least I am sure it's much better to tell a girl you're an elected official rather than that you sell fried chicken for a living. :D

Power and leadership is very attractive to women...Now that would apply to congressmen and governors, I'm not sure if having a small local position is really gonna help you out. Then again, everyone has to start somewhere and you can always work your way up the ladder.

i mean you can get any message across no matter who you are as long as you do it an appropriate way. I mean put less emphasis on what you do and all that and more about how you talk to the woman. I mean C&F and kino.

mainly keep her talking about herself.....and when you do talk about yourself.....talk confidently like what you do is VERY important to you. It does not matter if its important to society or not, it it is.....bonus! It shows that you are happy who you are and since your are a politician, all the better to ya! You can brag and be ****y as long as its in a funny way and you dont come off boring and serious!

exaggerate it and joke. Say your running for...... (make up some funy position and some retarded issue) like you wanna ban something retaded. Lol or protest against some stupid show or wutever. This will get her laughing and then you can tell her what you actually do. it lightens things up and keeps the convo long and keeps you a mystery.

it does not matter who you are. Look at HItler..... look at the polices that he managed to put down. Look what he did and how all the people went along with it. It was not he issues that the people agreed with but it was him they agreed with. He had charm.

It could possibly help you get your foot in the door, but it's not gonna guarantee you women.

Have u not been reading the Don Juan Bible? Does it not state CATEGORICALLY a few things you should NEVER speak to girls about. 1 of the things and their are only a few as far as i remember so its not too difficult to remember that ONLY a few shudnt be discussed and 1 of those is ...POLITICS. Its a topic that can lead to an endless argument so if you are a politician and you want to use it to speak about , DONT. In politics its about debating and if you want to debate with girls about the world, then go for it! JUST DONT EXPECT TO GET ANYWHERE WITH HER!

Depends on the woman. Many women are repulsed by politicians and won't even consider you a human being. Other women will be allured by the potential power and success. Some women will be genuinely interested in what you do and be drawn to you through common interest and a connection.

I don't believe you can apply one rule to all women. Discussing politics in clubs is a big no, but there are many university students, for example, who enjoy intelligent conversations and almost everybody of any age has political views in this day and age.

Just because one is a politician doesn't mean you have to talk about issues. Politics is not about ideology or issues, its about business and patronage work. Discussion of issues is the show we keep the public busy with so they don't see us taking taxpayer money to secure our power base and enrich ourselves and our allies at taxpayer expense. There I've just thought you more about politics than you'll ever learn in any class.

But anyways, just because I would be a politician doesn't mean I'd wanna talk about it in anything other than general terms. I'd just tell her what I do. And my question was would that be impressive to know you're dating a politician or is that not such a good thing.
