DJ'ng on and off switch bad?

Hey guy's it's me again and I have another question! I recently read in another post that you should try to keep being a dj all the time and not have an off and on switch. I thought it over and found out I have this so called "Switch,''let me explain I usually do my Dj'ng on the weekends since its a lot easier on my schedule and have recently found out a revelation. It happened on Friday I was with my Father (Long story I drive him around got stung by scorpion )pay bills we go into HEB to send out a payment thats when I see this HB 7.8 (Skinny,perky butt, decent tits, asian I think) I go up to her and say my opening lines and I ask her for her name....this is when I realized I have this switch, she says her name very quietly so I have to ask maybe like 3 times and I still cant remember her name so instead of saying "A cute girl like you should speak up so people can hear her next time," but instead I say "Ohh ok well gotta go bye." I play this over in the car while im driving and wonder why I didnt say what I should have said and then I realize I didnt have my switch with me! My switch is this little tournequet I wrap around my bicep its elastic so it doesnt cut off my circuclation , I wear it all the time on the weekends when I DJ and found out that I need this to become my DJ self....now my question is is it really bad to have a switch or not? Sorry for the long post but im tired and am rambling :crazy: thanks guys later.

**** outta here man. You need a piece of Elastcic to be a DJ? Stupidest thing I've every heard. You ether are or you arent. Its a way of life. Not a hobby. Sort it out or forever be a chump. You are the one who makes youreslef a DJ not a piece of Elastic. Wake up.

hehe ya I know that but its a habit now.... I dont get your first word though if its the F then that makes no sense and my post is the stupidest thing you've ever heard? LOL ....I'm not saying the Band makes me a DJ im just saying it makes me realize....actually I cant expalin it ...its just my little quirk thats all. I mean Im sure everyone has their little something that they do and other people might think its funny , mine is the band I usually flex it when I need a little more confidence.

Nah it aint the band thing its the whole turning on and off being a DJ. I don't get how you can be a chump on tuesday but DJ on saturday. Im afraid it doesnt work like that if you see what im saying. Proper DJ's don't use elastic bands to give them there balls or whatever to chat up girls. Its silly.

I believe it's called an anchor in NLP. We can learn to associate certain things that are not related to other things. You are not crazy, it's perfectly normal and it happens all the time with people, they see it rain for example and associate the rain with sadness or whatever. In your case you have made an association between your dj actions and your armband.

It's simply a learned association and you can unlearn it and learn something else. You have associated this armband as some kind of switch. When you wear it you are switched on so to speak. There are lots of ways to change this learned behavior. I would suggest transferring the idea of a switch from the armband to the arm or something like that.

Do whatever you want, wear it or don't wear it, just break the connection in your mind that this armband switches on your DJ abilities.

It helps to see the belief as foolish, I'm not putting you down but you will lose the connection faster if you can laugh about how stupid it all sounds.
