Hello DJ's, I have some questions that perhaps someone may answer for me for which I'd appreciate. Suppose I took part in the DJ Boot Camp and approached some girls to get numbers, 1) Does anyone have any specific brand of clothes you should wear when approaching a chick to make you look attractive? (Like, calvin kline button down shirt with vintage jeans, black shoes, etc) 2) What type of hairstyle do women prefer? Name an actor with that hairstyle so we know what it looks like. Most of these "guru books" like Dave Deangelo and DJ are vague and just say to look "nice" and get a "good hairstyle," but what does that mean specifically? Thanks.

It means that different things look good on differenet people and that different women find different things appealing.

Use some common sense.

Exactly: not all women like the same things on guys. Some like a guy with tatoos some girls are repulsed by it. Its all a matter of opinon. With hair styles and clothes go to a store and find an attractive girl employee and ask for her opinions on different clothes.

I've never been a fashion guy. I usually wear a plain colored shirt and some jeans with sneakers. EVerything is clean, but defintely not flash. Then i came to a conclusion, that as a Guy your eyes automaticlly go to a woman wearing an outfit that you have seen an attractive women wear many times before.

For example: If a girl is wearing tight jeans and a tight shirt. You automaticlly assume she's hot. Now if she's wearing kinda bagg y jeans and a sweater..you get the idea.

This definitely applies in clubs^ since you cant see faces all that well, you tend to just approach the chicks that are wearing revealing outfits, or the nicest looking clothes. As a girl, id imagine they look for what all the guys in the magazines wear.

The point of being a DJ isn't to be conformed or changed.... different things look good on different people. As a matter of fact, clothing aren't all that important, as long as your clothes are nice and neat you are ok; you're game should handle the rest.

I'm wearin' middle-ish of the line stuff.. banana republic, cK, DKNY, express, etc. You can get some of that pretty cheap if you know how to look for them.

I can never go wrong with a pair of boot-cut jeans and a fitted button-down (maybe tshirt underneath). maybe screw the button-down and straight up vintage t. pair of black shoes works. clean sneakers work too. whatever.

Pick up an issue of GQ or Cargo. You don't have to buy the thousand-dollar shirt the model is wearing -- but it does give you an idea of what might look good.

And what ^^ those ppl said .. wear what looks good on you, what you feel confident in. as they say.. It's the Man that makes the clothes look good, not the other way around.

hair? i have no clue. i saw something my friend was rockin'. I took a picture, brought it to my barber and asked him to see what he could do. if you don't see anyone with hair you like.. i dunno.. go to an expensive-ass hair salon and tell them to make you look hot.

have fun :woo:

Personally, I really like clean-cut looking clothing and dressing in a clean-cut looking fashion. The clothing I wear and the brand clothing I would suggest: Ralph Lauren Polo, Lacoste, and Banana Republic.

Rules are
1)No shorts ever under any circumstances
2)NO SHORTS
3)if it costs less than ($20 Australian) ($30 American) THEN DONT BUY IT
4)No open toed shoes
5)No baggy cloths
6)no FLURO colours

Also a few tips:
-always wear a nice belt girls notice your belt.

-always have atleast 1 suit in you wardrobe

-Dont go crazy and buy winter cloths that are on Sale because its the start of summer.

-BLACK goes with any colour (but try to avoid mixing black and dark brown)

-As does WHITE

-Have more than 1 pair of shoes

-Just because there brand name it doesnt mean there better. This goes for shoes and cloths

-When buying cloths ask for a
girls opinion. Prefrably not the store owner.

-Try to buy everything on the same day . Not a shirt 1 week pants the next and shoes the week after.

Thats all the comes to mind.
