I'm noticing both online and in real life, but online especially, that with more what I call conventional, mainstream hot girls...the kind that look like the top priority at a club or the hottest in her group of friends, they are a lot more picky than other women. Might seem like I'm stating the obvious...but let me give example of 5 women, all pretty in their own way, my approach with them online (and in person in 2 cases) and their response.
Girl 1: (HB 8.5 Has a "beautiful face" and nice body...but dresses casual and doesn't go out of her way to be "hot.")
We talked on facebook chat, just about regular stuff, and I could feel the chemistry even over the computer. She even admitted later "I left the conversation thinking, this guy is different than the others." When we talked on the phone before we met, I was just "myself" talked about whatever the f*ck I felt like. She brought up sexual topics, made sarcastic jokes. We dated for a month and hung out another couple months.
Girl 2: (HB7 Kind of the cute, innocent looking quiet type. The kind of girl you'd see at an art museum.) We talked briefly about 3 or 4 times on facebook within the course of a few months...I casually asked her next time she'd be in town, she said contact her in about a month. I waited a month and contact her, she agreed to direct plans, didn't play any games. We were supposed to meet in the morning, she didn't call, I went back to sleep. I got a text at 12 from her saying she fell asleep and she apologizes. So I call her and she says sorry and makes plans to meet up with me later that day.
We talk for about an hour and a half about regular stuff...hobbies, interests. She didn't even ask me what I do for a living. I mentioned how I want to go back to school. She talked about herself. We talked about Seinfeld. It was just what I needed at the time because I wasn't over Girl 1 and we'd just broke up and talking to Girl 2.
Girl 3: (HB 8.5 Cute face, really hot body, but like girl 1, doesn't really care about fashion. Kind of goth/rocker hot.)
Met her on a dating site. I think honestly she was just there to AW and see what kind of responds she'd get. We talk on aim and at first she was giving me the "I've never met a guy off the internet" bs and how she usually ends up dating her good guy friends. So I noticed now that we're more friends (we talk like Girl 1, about sex, and like talking to "one of the guys") she's more interested in meeting. There isn't much romance, but like I said, we flirt with each other sexually and I'm sure when we meet in person, I can make the moves on her.
Girl 4: (HB9-9.5 All-American Blonde type.) I went to high school with her like girl 1 and 2. We didn't know each other at all, just knew each other's name and face. The first time we talked, she was very chatty and seemed happy to make convo. Since, it's been the typical HB bs. She gave me the "Maybe later on in the month" excuse when I asked her for coffee (I haven't tried since and haven't talked to her much in general, and when I do, talk to her about other girls and how I prefer brunettes.)
She's interested in seeing my band when I get a gig, but honestly, and unlike most guys on here, I can be honest about situations...unless she just sees me and thinks I'm really hot, I don't see anything romantic or sexual happening. It would just be a HB pivot that might be able to invite me to a party or something.
Girl 5: (HB6-7 Nerdy type of woman with HB9-10 body. Her face isn't ugly, probably a 5ish, but it isn't pretty or beautiful.) She was quiet in high school she said, and overall hated it despite the fact that she wasn't unpopular and was cool with some of the popular people. We talked once, just kind of regular talk.
I messaged her a second time today, and was flat-out direct with her...mentioned how a lot of the woman peaked in high school and asked her "did you have the body then you have now?" she said "wow what a compliment thank you." I said "If you can't tell I'm being direct" she said "Yeah, it's refreshing." So I asked her out for coffee she says "We'll talk about it next time, I'm still feeling you out. Ttyl
" Her interest is obvious, she just doesn't want to come off as easy and wants to talk a few more times.
With girl number 4, I notice how I play it safe, almost like I'm afraid to offend her, or afraid that if I act the way I usually act, she'll not think it's funny or direct but creepy. I also notice how she overall isn't "fun." She isn't a b*tch, but even the first time we talked when she was more interested, she was more "straight-forward."
I'm wondering if only certain men bang these women (Model guys, pretty boys with muscles, men in their direct social circle, rich guys), if the problem is that I'm not being congruent and just being myself around them and they can sense I'm playing it safe? Or is it that these women, on top of being picky, don't really have a personality because they know they can get by on just their looks with most guys?
