By following the 80/20 rule, (80% of your food chosen from alkaline- forming group, 20% from acid-forming group) and avoiding STRESS you can create a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle and change your pH. It may not be easy, of course, because many people are physically addicted to a diet consisting of acidic food, and this is where Ionized alkaline water is such a boon.

It’s important to understand that a food may be acid, but after it is burnt up by the body, the remaining minerals will be alkaline. The foods listed below relate to their potential to form alkaline or acid residual minerals in the body.

More rediculous hippy bullsh1t. :p
JK. Not really sure what the point of this post is. Most of those foods (or many of them) should be regular parts of anyone's diet anyway, especially if they're into fitness/bodybuilding/just eating healthy. Your pH is something your body maintains through homeostasis and it's incredibly hard to change it (a significant change over a short period of time will actually kill you). Most things you do that would normally change your pH are counteracted by your body anyway though.

Yeah, try and raise your pH. I dare you. Your enzymes will denature and you'll probably die.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

:)

Blood pH is maintained within a small range (like 7-7.5 or something). Long-term adjustments are handled by the kidneys. If you eat lots of alkaline food, your kidneys will just be busy shedding it through your urine. Your blood pH won't change much but your pee will be nice and alkaline :). mm mm good.

It's like thinking that eating fat will make you fat, and eliminating all fat will mean you'll stop getting fat. It's just ill-informed.

Thank god the body has built in maintenance systems... with all of our dietary "theories" we'd probably all be dead by now. :)

I'm no doctor...yet, but I do know that your ph level should be 7 even and going too much either way is VERY unhealthy....Kick the guy who told you ph levels should be around 10-12 following that 80/20 rule
