Hey guys, I haven't had a chance to type a good post about the progress I've made. Hopefully that will come in the future when I get some more time on my hands.
But I have a quick question. I have to go out of town this weekend for work, and I am facing another situation where I may have to go out of town for work for upwards of two or three weeks next month. Obviously, it's not going to be possible for me to eat raw eggs and mix protein shakes from a hotel room, so keeping up with that portion of my diet isn't going to be doable.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
A quick rundown of my diet:
Morning Meal: protein shake and three raw eggs
Meal 2: Beef and vegetables or some sort of other meat product with veggies
Meal 3: Protein shake and two raw eggs
Meal 4: Beef (usually steak) and vegetables
Meal 5: Protein shake and two raw eggs
Meal 6: Cottage cheese (sometimes), can of tuna and two tablespoons of olive oil.
I was thinking about getting some Whey protein bars to substitute for the shakes. Are those as effective in bar form? I also can eat anything from really any restaurant I want because my company pays for all my meals. Any ideas for good meals or good places to eat to help keep my protein/calorie/fat count high?
I'm looking forward to getting out to the west coast again so I can have a cheat meal at In-N-Out Burger. We don't have those in the Midwest, and I'm lucky we don't or my diet wouldn't be possible.
