Coralles stops Freitas

Coralles stops Freitas!! My prediction was right, it just came a few rounds later, lol. Onto September when all the mega fights start!

DLH v BHOP
Tito v Mayo
Mosley v Winky
Tszyu v Mitchell

all these fights within Sep, Oct and Nov. Plus a whole heap of others like Cotto and Roys fights. Man, boxing is great right now!

Man, tell me your picks. If you kept getting them right, I might have to make some bets!

lol, man I get a lot right, but boxing is just such a hard sport to predict!!

For those fights, some are VERY hard to predict, thats why they are super fights!! Two great champions in with one another.

BHOP will probably UD De La Hoya.
Winky will probably win a close fight against Mosley. (although this is a tough call).
Tito over Mayo, although once again a tough call as Tito has been out of action for a long time.
Tszyu in a tough fight over Mitchell, although once again a VERY tough call, as Tszyu is WAY past his prime and has also been out of action for around 2 years.

Roy will take care of Glencoffe easily. Cotto will have his hands full, this will be a very tough fight and I woudl not like to pick a winner. If I had, I would say Cotto simply because he seems to have a little more boxing ability.

What do any of you other boxing enthusiasts think the outcomes of these fights will be?

Diego Corrales

Diego Corrales is on top of his game. A hell of a fight. I was surprised at the way Freitas fough though. He was dancing around like Muhammad Ali, when usually he comes right at you like Mike Tyson. A lot of people are criticizing him for quitting after getting knocked down 3 times. I personally think he made a good decision, and if he has any doubts the only person he needs to answer to is himself. Did anyone else see this fight? Who should Corrales fight next?

Yes, Frietas started to get outclassed, due to the size and reach of Corrales, later in the fight; he kept fighting back, but I think he made the right decision to quit after getting dropped the third time, it was only gonna get worse for hm, he was really hurt and had almost no chance at turning around againt Corrales who seemed to be getting stronger and in charge at the end.

lol, its always us same 4 guys who come to the boxing threads on this site. haha. Do any of you guys post in any boxing forums? I personally post on boxingtalk.com.

Casmayor wouldnt have a chance against Mayweather IMHO. He is a good boxer, however not up with the superstars. Coralles is definately in his prime right now, especially with his renewed motivation he seems to have received from Goosen and his current stable family life. His situation is ripe for his growth in boxing! I would take him over Casmayor in a rubber match.

Olympics........I think most of the medals are between the Russians and the Cubans. Cant wait till it starts just to watch the boxing.

he won mostly beacause of his height. He used it as an advantage.Trinidad better win his fight but I can't count out his opponent.Trinidad likes to hit below the belt.So watch out for this.

Wow what a fight. Definitely one of the best I've ever seen.

My friend thinks they stopped the fight too soon. I think since Castillo was against the ropes and wasn't protecting himself after that one flush shot, it was the right thing to do.

Corrales definitely is Top 5 P4p!

Oh well, another prediction wrong! Man, that is like 3 in a row now I think. Although I would prefer Toney to win, much as I hope Coralles wins in two weeks, although once more I think Castillo will.

Na, like they say, a dog is most dangerous when he is wounded! Especially one with some of the greatest P4P power in boxing! Coralles did good, the late rounds are always the ones Castillo takes, n he almost did! But Coralles won fair and square!

I mean, even though I thought both Ruiz and Castillo would win these fights. I would much prefered Coralles and Toney win, its far better for boxing as their the more entertaining colourful guys!

Same as Tito spanking Winky this weekend!
