I think this guy that I like might have tried to ask me out the other day. When he founf out we both had the same day off, he was like "oh...we should go do something" and I was stupid and sorta turned it into a joke...and said yea, we can go to staples and buy notebooks, cuz I remembered he said he had to go buy stuff for school. Do you think he took my sarcasm as a bad sign? And if he did take it as a bad sign, then i guess its up to me to suggest something the next time, cuz he's sure as hell not gunna say anything again and risk feeling retarded again, right?
Did I screw it up?

what you said is fine, but maybe you should have followed through with...yes hanging out would be cool.

if your attractive and he likes you it's not screwed up... if you totally hurt his pride then maybe.... all you have to do is be like "so when are we going out?"
