bout couple months ago i could curl 30lbs 15 timesbut then i was on vacation so i didnt get tha equipment required 2 lift but i workd on my abs in those times on vacation...anyhow when i started liftin again i could barely curl 30lb 6 times....n ive been workin on it for a week now n still havent gotten back 2 where i was which was able 2 curl 30lb 15 times....is this cus of lack of protein?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Youve been working on it for a week now, had been on vacation and the last time (?) you hard curled before starting again was "about a couple of months ago". This sounds like you haven't worked your biceps for a couple of month. I usually notice that the reps I can do with a certain weight already go down by 1 or 2 reps if I'm on a vacation of about a week or two (where I cant work out). It's not like you work your muscles out and when they are there, they are there for the rest of your life. You still have to work them out, so they dont go away (if u just wanna keep them and not make em bigger u can get away with working them out less, but not working out at all will of course lead to a loss of muscle)....I'm not quite sure but from my experience I would say, that if you had eaten enough protein, that would have helped a little, but you still would of lost enough muscle/strength.

Oh and..you've been working them out for a week but ur strength is still not back. It'll take you a couple of weeks maybe up to 2 months or so to get back where u were. It's not a nice thing, but say you work your muscles out for 4 weeks and then u take a break for 4 weeks, believe me the strength/muscle you gained during the 1st 4 weeks will have vanished after taking a break which lasts as long...

I disagree. It's about diet, not practice. I took four weeks off (not by choice) from the gym recently, still ate more or less like I was working out (a little less food perhaps) and none of my lifts suffered.

It'll come back, just be patient, and EAT.

The other thing is your age. At 15 there's a good chance you've gone through a growth spurt which will make you temperarily weaker.
