OK, I work out of town on occassions. The last time I was out of town I went out on a small afternoon date with this girl that I didn't even know what she looked like before I met her. We were set up. Come to find out not only was she attractive, but we also had tons of similar interests. Ok, we go out and I wait a few days to try to give her a call. I leave a smart and upbeat message with a couple of funny compliments, nothing sappy. Ok, so I try her back one more time when I realize I'm going to be traveling there again just by luck this weekend. I wasn't expecting hear from her and I put the ball in her court. She calls back and I'm not there of course, we both stay busy. She says this and this is what I need help with. I want to make sure that I didn't come off needy; which I'm not and don't think I did.
"Hey Myname, it's Hername. I'm sorry that I haven't called you back, things have been so crazy. My friend is getting married next month and I'm throwing her a shower this weekend so I've been wrapped up. I just wanted to let you know that I got your messages and (it a low flurtatious girl voice) it's good to know that you are going to be down here this weekend. Like I said I have all this craziness going on, but why don't you give me a call whenever you get down here and I might be able to find some time, bye bye."
I'm thinking her IL is high for calling me back and then the flitratious voice just makes me excited.
