How do you guys deal with mixed messages effectively?

A girl I've known showed interest, but at the time I was involved with someone. I managed to see her again with a group of friends, and she was perfectly happy with initiating and re-establishing kino in front of our friends, dancing etc. Gave her a kiss good bye and left it at that at the end of the night.

Next time I saw her, complete coldness and hovering around the room not talking to anyone except for her friend. Her friend would then come over and talk to me, and she would find her way into the conversation but show limited interest, coldness, and aloof behavior. Her friend would then come back and start a conversation with me, touch me, and then she would come back in again. Rinse and repeat, till her friend insisted the three of us take a picture together, we did, then she left us alone again but aloof behavior came out again so I walked away and left her to herself.

Waited a couple of days and sent her a text asking if she wanted to go out, giving her my available days, only to get no response.

By caring less about her....I would have totally hooked up with her friend if she was attractive enough.

Dont waste your time dealing with women who dont show high interest. Often times they are dragging you along simply so they can use you for male attention and nothing more. Problem is....men nowadays are abysmal with women so when they actually receive attention from one, they jump all over her. This gives your power away. There are literally billions of women on this planet....dont get hung up on one who isnt showing they are highly interested in you.

In short; LEAVE HER ASS ALONE! That's judge nismo's orders.

Worse yet - when she is having a girl's get together, and a guy she is dating or considering dating texts her, especially if they are having some issues. I can GUARANTEE you she says "OMG, look what xxx just texted me" Then they all look, giggle, and have input into how she should respond to get YOUR hamster spinning.

If you get a girl's number, ask her out, in PERSON. She either says yes or no.
Confirm by text if you like, but a phone call is better.
If she flakes once, without GOOD reason?
