I have no issue with dating someone who is HIV as long as they didn't get it sleeping around. Also be as safe as possible, a relationship isn't all about sex. There is zero chance of getting HIV from making out, so yea...
Always use condoms for penetrative sex, they protect against gonorrhea, syphilis and other venereal diseases.
Kissing carries very little risk unless you both have bleeding open sores in your mouths. Oral sex is a bit riskier as there will be some levels of the virus present in his semen. Most, if not all of it will be destroyed by your stomach acid. HOWEVER, there's always the chance of an open sore, bleeding gums, ulcer, or other irritation in your mouth or esophagus that could allow the virus to enter your blood. While the risks from oral sex are much lower then unprotected anal or vaginal sex, it can still be a method of transmission.

Condoms aren't 100% effective against HIV so forget about it.

Why would anyone want to even risk it. I wouldn't even want to be too close to someone who is HIV positive. It's sad but it's also the truth.

HIV isn't such a big deal any more anyway. In the 80's there was that massive "its gonna kill you certain death" scare, but it was mainly all the homos and phag's who died quick, because their health was already fcuked from all the drugs and misc. disgusting sh1t they do.

I mean, Magic Johnson's still going strong, right? HIV drugs are pretty powerful these days, and, just recently, a kid got cured of brain cancer by being injected with HIV.

Still, just because its not a certain death sentence any more, doesn't mean you still shouldn't be careful. They say it knocks about 10 years off your lifespan, so, the same as type 1 diabetes.
