I look very young for my age thus I prefer to pursue younger women instead of women of same age. Women in my age group look really old.

At 42, I think ten years younger is not only acceptable, but preferred. I'm 28, and I see these girls that are 27+, and they look beat. It's sad really, by 35, most girls are rapidly going downhill in the looks department. Some at 25 even. IMO, you can go anywhere from 25+ for a girl to date.

At 42, people aren't going to judge you much. It might be more of an issue if you were say, 24.

I'm almost doing it. I'm 27 years old and a Jr. in college. Most of the girls I run into are 18-20. I went on a couple of "dates" with an 18 year old, who has no idea how old I really am Unfortunately I still suck with women and the window for getting physical has most likely closed.

I am 35 and have dated girls 10 years younger than me. I think it's all about context, not your age - if you were in college girls would not worry about your age. You just have to find the right context and make it happen - hang out with younger people and blend in with the crowd.

I even had a friend who dated a 22 year old when he was 44. It's all about how you present yourself - especially if you look younger than your age.

18 is legal. Beyond that it's all about what you can (and want to) pull.

If you want to talk about what's "acceptable" to society, at 42, it's not "acceptable" for you to be dating at all. You should be married with 2 kids and busting your ass to save for their college education.

Get as young a chick as you can pull that is legal and that you prefer.

Be aware that many women who are past their expiration date ie 30 and older may try and shame you for dating younger hot models and not them.

They of course won't let you in on the fact that this is why they look on your relationship so negatively.

Even women that are married and apparently happy may view your relationships with younger women negatively but they are still doing this for a similar reason the single older women do it and that other reason that the single older women also hold is they can't stand a man that knows his worth and who is having more fun than they think he deserves to have.

They'll try and shame you by dismissively saying you are rocking the cradle or make reference to the girl being too young and dumb to know anything and that is why she is with you and your response will be to smile and say "And I wouldn't want it any other way".

Since that seems to be buying into their insult and insulting yourself ontop of it if you like you can add some more clever back handed insult type remarks about how attractive you find younger women and then list all the flaws of older women and in that way you are insulting that older critical woman right to her face without insulting her at all.

At least not directly anyway.

I know a guy that was 52 who was dating a 16 y.o. (above the age of consent.) He said she was too immature, so he subsequently married a 26 y.o.

I myself was 38 and was dating a 19 y.o. I now limit myself to 22+ y.o. women.
