Give one of your felame friends[one that attracts you, and that has some interest in you] a call and ask her if she wants to have the honor to teach you how to dance.

Then you go over to her house, let her put on some music and ta-da!

That's pretty much how we got one of my friends to learn how to dance.
Haha.

1. I know there are people who are able to dance, but I've never met any. Just find the groove with the music, and do what you want to.
2. Grinding is what it sounds like---you are grinding up against a girl. There are variations...my favorite is to move so that one of my legs is between hers...then grind it in...the last time I did this, the girl was literally riding my leg...fun times. I suggest you check out some of the stuff in the Bible about dancing and clubbing...it's a great resource.

I am in no way taking credit for this info its just something I googled and found. I thought it was good info

Website I googled said:
Just in case you’re a total newb, to grind, one person leads and the other follows.
The leader “makes up” the dance that you do, (moving your hips in circles, bobbing back and forth, w/e)
and the follower copies them.

So, if the girl is leading, and she is making circles with her hips and her back is to you, you would just copy her.

But if you are face to face, you would do the opposite, (when she moves her hip back, you move yours forward)
Of course, you both could just move your hips back and forth snapping your fingers.
Just have fun.
Now onto dancing.
If you have a full length mirror, it’s perfect for this.
Start by simply moving your hips left to right.

Part 1:Side to Side

Ok…
Now this time, move your hips by bending your knees.

Just like walking without taking your feet off the ground.
This knee bending is how you should move your hips,
(of course you can add hips to it later on)

For a good example of this, you can go here, watch how the knees move the hips
http://www.bustamove.com/cgi-bin/scripts/free.pl?d=salsa&m=16

You can also snap your fingers and add a “pop” to your hip movements.

Remember, the knees move the hips

Part 2: Hip circles
Now we add a little hip movement.
For the basic idea of this, think of hula hoops.
Start off by moving side to side, (from above)

Except this time, roll your hips so your waist goes right-to-front-to-left (stretch forward like your sticking your crotch out in front)
and come back, left-to-front-to-right so you’ll be making half-circles.

Your hips should do the forward-backward movement, while your knees do the left-right movement

Then, after you’ve done that for a while, go back instead of front… (stretch your waist back like you’re sticking your ass out behind you)
so you’ll go right-to-back-to left and then left-to-back-to-right to make half circles.

And finally, when you’ve done that for a while, combine the last two excersises by making full circles.

Remember to move your hips with your knees. And practice both clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Remember to practice slowly and smoothly. And slowly speed up.
Now for this part, start by moving side to side, except lower your body slowly like your crouching, and then come back up.

Part 3: Going down

Then do this with the hip circle excercises.
When you do this, you’ll probably have to just move with your hips and ankles since your knees are already bent.
As for the hands, always move them slowly. And if you’re in a club, NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS WAY UP INTO THE AIR.
It’s a big sign that your a newb. But if your at home or just messing around, go for it.

Part 4: The Hands

But in a club, if your gonna hold your hands up, hold them up about ear height like your raising your elbows.

Here are some more ideas.
-your hands on her waist, her arms around your neck
-your hands behind your back
-one hand on her hip and the other on her shoulder
-if it’s someone your close with, you can get nose to nose with her holding her waist or have a hand on her cheek.
-if she has her back to you, you can hold one of her hands on her waist, and the other behind her head.

Use your imagination

If your dancing solo, or you and your partner aren’t holding,
-snap your fingers
-move them up and down like your jogging
-hold them up (ear height)
-hold your hips
-let them hang
-have one hand snap while the other holds the waist
Again, just use your imagination
As for feet, start by planting your feet just more than shoulder length.
DON’T MOVE THEM, KEEP THEM PLANTED.
The most common thing to do is to put your right leg between hers, or to put both of yours between both of hers.
But you can always get creative ; )

Part 5: The Feet

Well there you go, Grinding 101, remember to always stay with the beat and let the music take control.
Good Luck
Just google it man. Its easy. Hopes this helps
