Damn guys piss me off

I'm going to post an example about this, but this isn't the only time it's happened, in fact this happens a lot when I'm around a girl, and there's also guys around.

I just started a new job on Monday, and me, and other people are in training classes for 2 weeks before we actually get to the floor (This is an MCI call center) ever since I got there, I had my eye on this girl. (I'll call her Jessica for the purpose of this)

She's really hot, size 3, tall, blonde, and talks intelligently, and I noticed that for the first day, NO guys were talking to her at all. So I end up making conversation with her on the first day, and we get along real good. However I find she's taken, but I don't really care, and I just keep being cool with her.

2nd day, Jessica decides to sit by me today, and that's totally cool. Still, no guys are talking to her. I start making conversation by talking to the girls sitting around her, but only for a short time, because Jessica is constantly talking to me, and I'm enjoying it. Well, other guys notice that I'm talking and getting along really well with this girl, so they start coming around and flirting with her, and when we are actually doing our work, these guys are interrupting. When we go out for break, now these guys keep butting in, and this one guys starts talking BS to try to make himself sound good, etc. I just keep cool and not worry about it, but they were annoying both of us.

However, she gave me her number today anyway and so far things are going good, and I have yet to see where it's going.

Now the reason I say guys piss me off, is because I only face competition from other guys when I'm the one with the balls to make the first approach. I've actually had girls in the past lose interest with me, and go to these other guys.

Now my question is..........How do I put up with male competition without either looking mad, or being an a$shole?

Hehe, this is soo cool and fun situation. I would be sarcastically funny and making the guys uncomfortable in front of us when Im with the hot chick. Because they are so damn obviously pathetic and I bet she knows it too... Guys are so predictable.

well she probably thinks higher of you anyways since you actually had the balls to talk to her first, I would just let those guys do whatever and make a fool of themselves by saying all their BS and she can see how pitiful they are while you are still DJ-ing her this whole time

lets think about this: when you at a new place with new ppl, do you honestly care which girl had the guts to come and talk to you first or do u care about the 3rd or 4th that seemed interesting, and was hot?

im not saying you arent those things or that either of those guys are but u r not gonna get brownie points for talkin to her first, though u do have her #, so now u control the situation

there is always a chance that one of these guys could move in on her

I guess another way to avoid these other hungry males in situations like this is to act cool, and not be jealous??

Should I just ignore them?

Should I insult them?

yea, jus keep bein u, def. dont be jealous

jealous of what? the fact that another man is talkin to a girl you like, who cares, you should be worried if you are the only man she talks to

you dont need to ignore the guys, maybe they are jus lookin to make some cool friends at work

do not insult, attack, etc. unless they do somethin to u first
who knows, they could turn out to be great guys that u start hangin out with, u never know

Especially if those guys are some of these friends. Just make sure none of them are becoming your friend just to get with this chick.

Yeah and if you're relaxed about it, given that most of those approaches are being thwarted by the girl, you can simply say to her. "Some guys are just so boring." and point at them subtly.

Taken? Damn, a tough spot but its great for you to try to make yourself seem irresistable. I talked to another hot girl and she said that she was dating her boyfriend. She asked me where I was going and I said the college and she said "Thats where my bf is going." It went so well and to hear that is just bad. However she always has to talk to me. It makes me feel great that when guys talk to her, she leaves them without really paying attention to them and she goes to me. Its annoying to me because she is taken and she's acting like she's single. I want to move in for the kill but alas, the boyfriend. Which turns out to be a guy who I know fairly well and we're cool together, making it all the more harder. However I'm attempting to make myself seem like the better deal. I doubt she is going to leave him to move to me (he may) but if she leaves him or vice versa, I will have enough rapport and all the good stuff for me to be a nice shoe-in to be next.
