I was just reading DIESEL's guide to getting cut. He said not too much cardio. Heaps of sprints. How many times should a person go for sprints a week and how many times a week without losing hardly any muscle mass, just body fat is what I wanna get rid off!Cos I have a little belly I would like to get rid off any tips on that too?

question 2, when you are trying to bulk up if you eat too much I have noticed that I just start to get phat and my muscles dont increase in size. Am I training enuf or just not eating the rite food, its mostly subway sandwitches cos I dont have time to cook.

heh, I wish the big D were still around to rip your post to shreds. ;)

I think your body is just weird, from reading what you've always touted....

Notice that the cutting guide has time periods too, because it's agreed that low calories are bad for your body for a long time, and that's why cycles are needed.

theres a million different ways to cut...eat hardly anything and do no cardio, eat quite alot and do quite abit of cardio. go on keto diets, carb cycling.......

and they all work!...some better, some worse....some give certain people amazing results and the same one with a different person may only work a little...

personally i like to do as much cardio as i can.. both during cutting and bulking, gives you a good heart..realeases endorphins.. and most importantly to me...YOU HAVE TO BE FIT TO LAST A GOOD TIME WITH A WOMAN!

just pick something that you personally think you can do... if you dont feel you can go running every morning for a couple months, then dont try...pick something realistic for yourself to achieve your goals and most importantly BE CONSISTANT!

good luck

How to cut without sacrificing health:

eat 10 or 12 X your bodyweight lbs for calories.
eat 0.8 - 1g protein for every lb.
eat starchy carbs earlier in the day (oatmeal, pasta), eat fibrous ones later (veggies)
perform 4 cardio sessions a week, 2 being 20 minute HIIT, 2 being low intensity 45 mins. hiit for overal metabolism effects, long sessions for overal calories burned during session.
eat double your dieting carbs on one day out of the week.
avoid saturated fats, sugars, hydrogenated oils.
drink 8 cups of water minimum.
consume a small amount of complex carbs before your cardio session (it is not how many cals you burn in the session but how many cals you burn in a whole day, total)
lift with your usual routine, same weight, same reps e.t.c
supplement with fat burners if you are in good cardio vascular health.

to your question regarding getting fat, its because your consuming too many calories, to gain lean mass while gaining least amount of fat, add 300-500 calories above your maintenance calorie intake. if your gaining 1lb per week your on the right track, if your gaining more reduce your calories, if your gaining less, increase them. Lift heavy.
