Hi all

I've got some questions on cutting. I've been bulking for over 3-4 months now and I see great results, but also a gain in bodyfat.

Can I start doing cardio to get my bodyfat down and keep the muscles I have at this moment (or even still gain some?). Although I heard that it's the one or the other...
When should I do this cardio? In the morning on an empty stomach, after a workout, on the days I'm not working out?

What should I eat and what shouldn't I eat?

The cardio has to be done in the anabolic heart rate I suppose, or should I do HIIT?

Thanks!

I've read some good things about the cardio in the AM on an empty stomach, haven't been able to try it myself due to my schedule. Gaining muscle while cutting is tough; I've read about it but never been able to do it.

How I cut:
- Hypocaloric diet, avoid high GI foods, eat small meals with protein (preferrably from meat, chicken esp.) every 4-5 hours
- Whey + carbs (i use gatorade powder) before & after workout
- Full body workout 3x a week, HIIT after I lift
- I sometimes use thermogenics (hydroxycut, lipo-6, yohimbine, green tea) if I hit a plateau

I also play hockey 3x a week; if I didn't I suppose I'd do some long/slow jogs on non-lifting days if I didnt. Jumping into 5-6 days a week of HIIT might cause injury and/or burnout, just listen to what your body is telling you.

I'm a big believer in SARMs, especially for increasing/maintaining muscle mass while cutting. I have used them in the past with excellent results and am currently running a triple stack of S-4/Ostarine/GW501516 which will produce some fantastic results combined with my diet and exercise by spring time...

Carb cycling works very well, as does doing high paced volume training to elevate the heart rate while lifting weights, which is vastly superior to simply doing cardio. Also doing 5 minutes of HIIT with 30 second intervals directly after lifting is a good way to send GH levels skyrocketing to burn fat...

Dylan Gemelli on the elitefitness forums is a trainer and very highly regarded in his knowledge of SARMS and his protocols that he recommends, which produce excellent results...
