Sooooooooo...
Still not really back in the dating game...lack of energy is part of it, but I am also not really meeting girls who I am that into or interested in.
Last night, however, I went to my usual bank, and there was this really cute new teller who ended up serving me. Were were chatting her up, getting personal, etc., not typical teller/customer interaction...and she seemed really cool. I would have really liked to chat with her a bit more, and would have at least attempted to asked her out/ get her # if I had more time...but there was a loooooong line of people waiting, so I felt a bit pressured to get going.
The dilemma of course, is that in any service industry, it comes down to "was she being friendly because it is her job?" - and certainly, that is not a question I wish to discuss or want to ponder over.
But, regardless, I left thinking..."she was cute...damn...I wish I had more time to chat with her..."
I am at the bank "maybe" once a week, and I don't necessarily want to start randomly finding excuses to go there to see if she is working to chat her up.
When I was younger, I would "make" those chance encounters happen (like knowing when a certain girl was going to be somewhere, and making sure I was there as well)...it ended up feeling stalker-ish...and that she was a prize I was chasing...which I never really liked - maybe I am just lazy..hahaha...
My feeling is just kick back, and if she happens to be there next time, great, move forward, engage, see what the vibe is like, and take it from there...if she is not, then maybe the next time.
Or am I being too passive here?
