a real simple question:

in order to get a ripped 6 pack, do you do HEAVY and low reps (holding weights and decline crunch)?? or is it LIGHT and high reps (regular floor crunches)??

i've been doing the ladder all the time and all im getting is a flat stomach. hardly any lines. so im thinking of swtiching to high intensity low reps, similar to chest workouts. just wanna know what you guys think.

In my own experience, high intensity and low reps is probably the best way of building muscle period. Make every rep count and take each one slowly.

In terms of my abs, I only do 10 reps and 5 sets per exercise. The one exercise that I've found to yield the best results is this:

(Try it on a flat bench to begin with if this is too intense)

I have a great looking six-pack showing through now, but still need to drop a bit of bodyfat before they look their best. As AFK said, you will only see the full definition when you are down to 10% bodyfat or less.

...and also make sure you are loading your body with protein. Like all muscles, your abs need protein to grow.
