For the most part I've found if you are laid back and let things happen with the flow of the evening rather than trying to push things too hard, LMR is virtually non existant.
IMO, a big part of LMR is you are trying to jump the gun on getting to a point without taking the prerequisite steps beforehand to ensure she is ready to move forward to that step.
There is such a thing as smoothness and transition and if you are having a lot of LMR this is the area you are failing in and need to improve.
